OK, guys, since I've gotton a ton of great Excel formulas from codenut and Bryan, I've been able to put my chart into a great Excel file that gives loads of new information that is easy to retrieve! The file contains the charts from 2001 to the present. I hope to eventually include 2000, 1999 and 1998 in that list.
I have also since found accurate records that have been previously misrecorded as true. Including the Most Weeks in the Top 10.
Anyways, here's my list of most weeks in the Top 10 on my chart!
#10 (tie) Christina Aguilera - Beautiful (16 weeks) #10 Coldplay - Clocks (16) #7 (tie) Alanis Morissette - Hands Clean (17) #7 (tie) Nelly/City Spud - Ride Wit Me (17) #7 Nelly Furtado - Turn Off The Light (17) #6 Matchbox Twenty - Bright Lights (18+) #5 Jennifer Lopez - Ain't It Funny (19) #4 Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow - Picture (20) #3 Chantal Kreviazuk - In This Life (21) #2 Martina Sorbara - Bonnie And Clyde II (22) #1 Jewel - Standing Still (26)
I might have more Record topics soon too!

I've been trying to find the Excel formula for a quick way to determine # of weeks at a peak position (AKA, number of times the minimum (MIN) number appears). I can't do it!

Never got around to creating a records file myself... I do know for a fact that #1 on my list would be "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence, which spent 34 weeks in my top ten earlier this year.

This is kind of rough because I don't have any kind of Excel formula so I just went through my year-end chart totals and looked for anything 41 or over.
18 "Why Don't We Fall In Love," Amerie 16 "Paradise," LL Cool J featuring Amerie 13 "Whenever," Jody Watley 13 "More Than A Woman," Aaliyah 13 "When I'm Gone," 3 Doors Down 12 "Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)," Ashanti 12 "Feels Good (Don't Worry 'Bout A Thing)," Naughty By Nature featuring 3LW 11 "Miss You," Aaliyah 11 "Don't," M2M 11 "Relax Your Mind," Boyz II Men featuring Faith Evans 10 "Through The Rain," Mariah Carey 10 "Never (Past Tense)," The ROC Project featuring Tina Arena 10 "Anything," Jaheim featuring Next
This is only for 2002-2003 because I don't have my full chart data from before 2002.

Songs that spent at least 13 weeks in the top 10 since the first week of 2002 (man, I really need to get the 2001 file back on my computer):
20 Michelle Branch - All You Wanted 20 Evanescence f/Paul McCoy - Bring Me to Life 19 Course of Nature - Caught In the Sun 19 Jimmy Eat World - The Middle 19 Puddle of Mudd - Blurry (6 of those weeks were from 2001, but I remember what week it hit the top 10) 19 3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone 17 Foo Fighters - All My Life 16 Switchfoot - Meant to Live 16 Matchbox Twenty - Bright Lights (#9 this week) 15 Coldplay - Clocks 15 Jimmy Eat World - A Praise Chorus* 14 Cave In - Inspire 14 Evanescence - Going Under 14 The Ataris - The Boys of Summer 13 Nickelback - Never Again 13 Creed - My Sacrifice (only 5 of those weeks from 2002, so I'm going off estimates) 13 Santana f/Michelle Branch - The Game of Love*
*peaked at #2
M2M's "Everything" was a #1 that only spent 7 weeks in the top 10
From 2001: Lifehouse's "Hanging By a Moment" spent at least 16 weeks in the top 10 and possibly as much as 20. I think Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" also crossed the 13-week mark, and there are probably others.

Well, first things first, you got to have all of the charts in Excel.
Artist - Song - Week 1 - Week 2 - Week 3 - etc etc etc
Then, you can determine the weeks on, peaks and other stuff with the following:
To find the peak position, put this in a new column: =MIN(MIN(K2:FJ2)) The K2:FJ2 is where you would put the range. That was my range.
The weeks on: =COUNTA(K2:FJ2) It's important not to have anything other than chart positions within that range because that formula counts cells that have stuff in them, numbers, letters, anything.
I have a Top 100 but I also like to know what the weeks in the Top 40 is so this one applies to me: =COUNTIF(K2:FJ2, "<=40")
You can also determine the weeks in the Top 10, Top 5, etc with: =COUNTIF(K2:FJ2, "<=10")
This one determines the weeks at the peak position: =COUNTIF(K2:FJ2,MIN(K2:FJ2))

K to FJ? How many weeks did you have, 150? But thanks for the "weeks at peak position" formula. I've been trying to figure that one out.

I never kept track of most weeks in the Top 10, I guess it would have been interesting if I did.
On my current chart, "Why Don't You & I" is #2 and has been in my Top 10 since early July. "Why Can't I?" is #8 and has been in my Top 10 since mid-July. So both have been there pretty long, and I'd say both have at least a couple more weeks left in the Top 10.
Can't recall if any have been there longer or not.

But thanks for the "weeks at peak position" formula. I've been trying to figure that one out. The first week of January 2001 until last week! LOL! So that's about 147, maybe? I want to have 1998-2003 on it by the end of the year!
The main problem, though, is that my chart was a Top 30 in 1998 and a Top 40 for most of 1999 so it will be highly inconsistant when in Excel.... Aw well!

I don't have the stats for any year except 2003, but this year there's a tie between Have You Ever Been in Love & Unwell. Both spent 18 weeks in the top 10.

For some reason most of my #1 songs spend twelve weeks in the Top 10. I don't think it's intentional. But the most I ever has was "Are You Happy Now?" for thirteen weeks.
