*Still rising at the end of the 2004 chart year. Korn went on to hit #11; Nonpoint peaked at #49; the Goo Goo Dolls re-entered the chart, and currently have a bullet at #89.
Anberlin's version of "Love Song" didn't chart because it wasn't a single, but grabbed the #21 spot on my year-end chart, the highest cover on that chart.

02. 200 Such Great Heights - Postal Service [1x1] I think the Postal Service's version of "Such Great Heights" was covered by another group, not vice versa.

I think the Postal Service's version of "Such Great Heights" was covered by another group, not vice versa. I don't recall The Postal Service's Such Great Heights being covered. You might be thinking of The Postal Service's cover of Against All Odds (originally by Phil Collins).

In the movie "Garden State," their is an alternate, much older sounding version of this song playing. I'd have to look it up to be sure, but I'm almost positive that the Postal Service renditon is a cover.

Alright so the group is Iron and Wine, but for the life of me, I can't find out who did their recording first.

According to the SubPop website description of the Postal Service EP:
So I'm guessing that the Postal Service version was the original.

oh, it's not? I thought all the songs on The Soul Sessions were covers ??? I think there were two original songs on the album, and I know this was definitely one of them.
