Jennifer Lopez is holding strong with little to no competition for the #1 spot right now with her BLAZIN hot single "get right."

This weeks Hot shot debut comes from The king Of The SOUTH himself, TI featuring The Queen of Rap, Lil kim with "Get ya s**t together." That track is destined for top 5!

"Lovers and Friends" increases 1 spot and drops Mariah down a spot, but she is sure to see gins within the next few weeks.

Patti makes he 1st top 10 debut on the chart with help from Mr. Biggs himelf.

"Rich Girls" is the greatest Gainer after falling out of the top 20 a few weeks ago and is definately looking like a strong contender for the top 5 and maybe higher! Gwen and Eve is a unstoppable combination!

ASHANTI BREAKS RECORDS-- I've had 55 charts now and she got more plays this week than any other song. It's weird because I had no idea that was happening. It was a big week across the board for the top 10, J. Lo's debut causes a LOT of backwards bullets (so does Ashanti for that matter). Bad drop for 50 Cent.

Nick's Notes:
Well, it's not AFI-less, but my Top 40 is now devoid of all tracks from Sing the Sorrow. Some of these other songs are getting a little long in the tooth and drop accordingly: "...Gun Fire," 18V, PR, and esp. A7X. Didn't see that coming.

MCR miraculously hold GD off for at least one more week. I thought for sure that this week "BoBD" was going to take over #1 for awhile. Perhaps it didn't get there because I'm trying so hard not to get burned out on the song that it still has a minor damaging effect. Matt tells me that Atreyu's finally sending "RSotB" to radio next week. If it has any impact at all, it may fight its way back to the top of the pile. And here I thought it was finally finished.

"All That I've Got" storms up the chart due to seeing the making of its video (which is awesome, btw). GC got some good radio play this week for "IJWL." And Muse and LPS are on fire. I didn't expect them to fly up my chart this quickly.

"Holiday" makes an incremental gain from the knowledge that Alt has jumped the gun so much that it's already charting.

Snoop keeps hanging in there. And while Avril has scraped the contender list three previous times ("C," "DTM" & "MHE"), "Nobody's Home" has the distinction of being her first Top 40 hit on my chart. Under less competition, "MHE" might also have hit my Top 40, because it doesn't feel like "Nobody's Home" is necessarily the better song.

JEW are actually gonna do quite a bit more than scrape my Top 40 for a week ("Pain") with "Work." I thought U2 would've rebounded this week, but on an R&R chart, they'd still have a healthy bullet. Thanks for reading this week.
