And here's how the crazy Billboard moves have affected the chart...
(NOTE: rowellfarm, this chart does not count towards the Pulse 100.)

50 45 02 Brad Paisley - Mud on the Tires 45 743 -94
49 -- 01 The Killers - Mr. Brightside 49 750 +750 *INSTANT IMPACT*
The first of this week's four debuts and the first of this week's three large instant impacts comes from The Killers. "Somebody Told Me" peaked at #35.
48 47 02 Rascal Flatts - Bless the Broken Road 47 775 +25
47 35 25 Switchfoot - Dare You to Move #9 783 -683
46 41 19 JoJo - Baby It's You 13 828 -179
45 39 18 Simple Plan - Welcome to My Life 20 836 -237
44 49 02 Bowling For Soup - Almost 44 837 +162
43 40 31 Ciara Featuring Petey deleted - Goodies #1 (4) 857 -158
42 43 02 Fantasia - Truth Is 42 875 +25
41 36 10 Eminem Featuring 50 Cent & Dr. Dre - Encore 17 980 -281
40 -- 01 Twista Featuring Faith Evans - Hope 40 1000 +1000 *INSTANT IMPACT*
This week's second debut and second instant impact enters one spot lower than the peak of "So Sexy".
39 -- 01 50 Cent Featuring Olivia - Candy Shop 39 1050 +1050 *INSTANT IMPACT/GREATEST GAINER*
Certainly no stranger to charting multiple songs at once is 50 Cent, who has this week's third debut. But it's ironic that this week saw three large instant impacts, and yet none of them are this week's Hot Shot Debut. So who is?
38 42 02 Nelly - N Dey Say 38 1080 +170
37 54 01 Eminem - Like Toy Soldiers 37 1137 +612 *HOT SHOT DEBUT*
There have been three Hot Shot Debuts at #37 in the past four weeks. Three weeks ago saw "Mockingbird" enter at 37. Last week saw "It's Like That" enter at 37. And this week sees "Like Toy Soldiers" enter at 37. And with this week's debut, all four Encore singles have debuted in the Top 40 - "Just Lose It" debuted at #25 on 10-8-04, and "Encore" debuted at #40 on 12-10-04.
36 32 07 Lloyd Banks Featuring Avant - Karma 32 1371 -222
35 38 03 Frankie J Featuring Baby Bash - Obsession (No Es Amor) 35 1500 +400
34 24 16 Ja Rule Featuring R. Kelly & Ashanti - Wonderful 11 1606 -1006
This is the first time I can think of that a song has lost more than 1000 in one week without dropping clear off either Billboard or R&R. :o
33 33 09 Good Charlotte - I Just Wanna Live 33 1609 +91
32 28 20 Trick Daddy Featuring Lil Jon & Twista - Let's Go #6 1633 -284
31 27 32 Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved #1 (2) 1728 -229
30 30 06 Alicia Keys - Karma 30 1770 -71
29 34 08 Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning 29 1805 +295
28 37 02 Mariah Carey Featuring FatMan Scoop - It's Like That 28 1825 +575 *POWER PICK*
I think it's safe to say she's having her biggest hit in quite a few years. ;)
27 29 07 T.I. - Bring 'Em Out 27 1925 +25
26 31 06 Lenny Kravitz - Lady 26 2067 +433
25 25 13 Avril Lavigne - Nobody's Home 25 2089 -89
24 10 23 Usher & Alicia Keys - My Boo #1 (6) 2549 -1299
Now drops like these are just plain rare. I can think of only one other time when this happened - when "My Immortal" dropped 9-23 on 6-25-04.
23 17 21 Destiny's Child - Lose My Breath #2 2603 -353
22 22 10 Ludacris - Get Back 20 2722 +28
21 26 04 Jennifer Lopez Featuring Fabolous - Get Right 21 2728 +722
20 18 09 Ashanti - Only U 18 2852 -52
19 16 13 John Mayer - Daughters 16 2908 -58
18 20 08 The Game Featuring 50 Cent - How We Do 18 3145 +304
17 23 07 Gwen Stefani Featuring Eve - Rich Girl 17 3187 +513
16 21 04 Usher - Caught Up 16 3277 +572
15 15 10 Linkin Park Vs. Jay-Z - Numb/Encore 15 3308 +141
14 19 04 Eminem - Mockingbird 14 3342 +457
13 13 12 Ryan Cabrera - True 11 3551 -51
12 14 09 50 Cent - Disco Inferno 12 3563 +287
11 12 13 Jesse McCartney - Beautiful Soul 11 3887 +163
Usually, a point total that high would get you a Top 10 spot. But not this week...
10 08 26 Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway #4 3891 -41
"Breakaway" hangs onto its Top 10 spot by a hair's breadth this week. But we haven't seen "Since U Been Gone" yet, and that can only mean one thing...
09 07 18 Snoop Dogg Featuring Pharrell - Drop it Like It's Hot #2 3927 -328
Snoop peaked at #2 the first week of this year, and it was leapfrogging Mario who ruined his chance at #1.
08 06 15 Gavin DeGraw - I Don't Want to Be #5 4032 -233
Poor Gavin fell victim to a common problem many Pop #1s have - not getting high enough on Billboard. That's why he peaked at #5 despite a really fast rise.
07 04 18 Nelly Featuring Tim McGraw - Over and Over #1 (2) 4058 -259
This song fits the literal definition of being split between years moreso than most others...its first week at #1 was the last week of 2004 and its second week at #1 was the first week of this year.
06 11 11 Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone #6 4140 +359
If Kelly can get her first #1 with this song, then she would be a not-too-common example of a song that rose from the very bottom to the very top, as its chart debut was at #50 on 12-3-04.
05 05 11 Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz Featuring Usher & Ludacris - Lovers and Friends #5 4321 +28
This seems to be almost pulling a "Get Low" in terms of peaking, as it looks like it'll match, but not beat, that song's peak of #10 on the Pop chart, and that peaked at #4 here. By the way, the entire Top 5 this week matches Billboard's Top 5 this week (another rare feat...we seem to be full of them this week!).
04 08 08 Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams #4 4415 +285
This has a decent chance of hitting #1 once Mario & Ciara die down.
03 03 12 Destiny's Child Featuring T.I. & Lil' Wayne - Soldier #3 4600 +50
They've probably peaked, as I doubt they'll be able to hold off Green Day for very long...and Mario and Ciara are just too far out of reach.
02 02 14 Ciara Featuring Missy Elliott - 1, 2 Step #2 4908 +42
The next #1? Now that Mario has lost the Pop #1 to her, it'll definitely be close.
01 01 14 Mario - Let Me Love You #1 (6) 4964 -15
Mario's lost his bullet this week, so he it can't be too much longer before he's out of the top spot. I give him one, maybe two weeks at most before he falls.
