20. Hilary Duff - DignityThis album is a major change of direction for Hilary, and is certainly a good one. While I find her pop/rock material boring and forgettable, this album is fun, creative, sexy, and danceable from front to back. Favorite songs:1. Play With Fire 2. Dreamer 3. Dignity 19. Lisa Marie Presley - To Whom It May ConcernThis album is darker and edgier than her sophomore release, but what else could you expect from the princess of rock 'n' roll? The album has many overtones that play throughout the album that sort of read like a book..on finding your own identity. Favorite songs:1. Indifferent 2. Nobody Noticed It 3. S.O.B. 18. JoJo - JoJoWhile this is probably a bit too sugary pop for most of you, this is a great debut album that puts me in a good mood. Upbeat, fun songs and great vocals by Jo. Favorite songs:1. Leave (Get Out) 2. Fairy Tales 3. Breezy

JoJo's debut was too 'runny', if you know what I mean. She was just all over the place. I prefer "The High Road", but that might be on the list too.

Of course "The High Road" is better, but I like her debut album as well.

17. Liz Phair - Somebody's MiracleThis album mixes Liz's newer pop sound with her more indie, quirky sound from the early 90's. It's raw, gritty, and overall a positive record and outlook on love. Favorite songs:1. Somebody's Miracle 2. Giving It All To You 3. Everything to Me 16. Ashlee Simpson - I Am MeAshlee Simpson's sophomore album, while a big step down from her near-flawless debut, is still a very strong album. It shows a more poppy side of Ashlee, but at the same time, a darker side of her as well. Favorite songs:1. Boyfriend 2. Eyes Wide Open 3. I Am Me 15. 30 Seconds To Mars - A Beautiful LieThe only male album on this list. It's also the only hard rock album on my list..but it's simply stunning. Jared's voice is gritty and raw enough to pull off a true rock sound, and it shows on many tracks. Favorite songs:1. A Modern Myth 2. R-Evolve 3. The Kill

14. Brooke Hogan - UndiscoveredWhile some people will roll their eyes at this, this is quite the great album. The music is flirty and fun, but at times takes serious approaches. Brooke's high voice takes time to get used to, but it fits perfectly in this great R&B album. Favorite songs:1. For a Moment 2. Heaven Baby (ft. Beenie Man) 3. One Sided Love 13. Katharine McPhee - Katharine McPheeThe lady responsible for the worldwide epidemic of McPheever returns to inject another deadly shot of it to the world with her sexy debut album. It is a typical pop/R&B album, nothing unique, but very good at the same time. Favorite songs:1. Each Other 2. Everywhere I Go 3. Dangerous 12. Lisa Marie Presley - Now WhatLMFP's 2nd album is the perfect mix of unapologetic, angsty rock and in-your-face pop. It's upbeat and fun in places ("Thanx", "Idiot") and dark and emotional in others ("High Enough, "Raven"). But no track can compare to my favorite ballad of all time, the title track. Favorite songs:1. Now What 2. Idiot 3. I'll Figure It Out

LOL Thank GOD for you that Katharine is BEFORE Brooke Hogan, or you would have an army of McPhans with scissors ready to cut you up!

11. Aly & AJ - Into The RushThe Michalka sister's debut album may be your typical Disney album, but it is more mature and positive than most. The album has deep tracks on it as well as tracks that make you smile and give you a more sunny disposition on life. Favorite songs:1. Chemicals React 2. I Am One of Them 3. Out of The Blue 10. Eva Avila - Somewhere ElseHow I discovered Eva was completely out of the blue..one of her songs randomly played on the radio when I was listening to it (a rare occasion). Nonetheless I'm glad I did. Her debut album is a great mix of pop, R&B, and Latin music that is amazing all around. Favorite songs:1. Old Love Song 2. I Don't Wanna Cry 3. Weak In The Knees 9. Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn ThingThis album is VERY hard to grasp for some people, but it wasn't for me and I am in love with it. It's simply fun, bitchy music that gets you up and moving in no time. However, there are several great ballads on the album and a few tracks that even hearken back to Avril's past two albums. Favorite songs:1. I Can Do Better 2. Girlfriend 3. Runaway
