Ever had a playlist on random and had it do something weird? Like play the same song three times in a row? Or play through an entire album when that album is only a small part of the play list? Etc...
I just had my 2,688 song random playlist go from "Chic Cheer" by Chic, to "Love Like This" by Faith Evans--- the latter samples the former. WEIRD!

I made up my own playlist of my favorite songs in Windows Media Player. I had Coldplay's "Yellow" right after Fountains of Wayne's "All Kind of Time". They both have almost the exact same 30-60 second guitar riff in them. The riff is at the end of All Kind of Time and the beginning and all through Yellow. It was so strange and coincidental that I put them back to back in the playlist. I never noticed it until I played the playlist on regular play and it jumped right out at me.

In less than 2 hours on my Launch station yesterday, I heard 3 LeAnn Rimes songs.

I've had my mp3 player for over two years now, and only twice have two tracks come up in the order that they exist on the album. And it was the same two songs both times! 'Acrobat' and 'Love Is Blindness' from U2's Achtung Baby album.

I have weird things sometimes like I'll be at the gym listening to my iPod on shuffle and a music video comes on the TV and then the song comes on my iPod next - it's happened 2 or 3 times in the past month... "Dirrty", "Since U Been Gone".

Wierd stuff like that happens all the time. Today I was listening to my Ipod and it was on shuffle -- Stevie Nick's "Edge Of Seventeen" was playing and then after Destiny's Child's "Bootylcious" which samples the former.

I got Usher's last four singles ("Caught Up", "My Boo", "Confessions Part II" and "Burn") in that order the other day. It was on shuffle and I have about 3000 songs on there. It was well weird.

My 4,700-song iTunes playlist just transitioned from Garbage's "Bleed Like Me" to Saliva's "Bleed For Me".

I remember writing about this in the "Songs That Sound Alike" thread... I had the riff pegged as the one in DC's "Vindicated" rather than "Yellow", but come to think of it, all 3 sound the same.

I was listening to my iPod on shuffle this morning, and the dance remix of Mariah Carey's "Through The Rain" came up right after Maroon5's "The Sun."

I was doing some spring cleaning, listening to my iPod and I decided to try on some old clothes to see if they fit and so I switched from the iPod to the radio. Not only was the radio playing the same song as the iPod (Howie Day's Collide), but it was in the exact same spot too. Freaked me out.

This happens to me LITERALLY all the time. I'll be in the car, or at home, singing a song, and i turn on the radio, or tv, and the song that i was singing will be on, at the EXACT same spot as where i was singing,,,freaks me out, lol.
