Yes she is huge WW. For thos if us who actually follow other charts around the world, Check Up On It was one of the biggest sigles of the year to date. But yeah, she can't kill off anyone's career when this song sucks and OMG the video... it looks so BAD! Bad is a too good a word. It's so sad. what charts are u following. Her album sales lack in comparison to that of her contemporaries when it comes to WW. Plus her music isnt as big as it is in the US or was anyways.

Her albums sell very well. You don't sell over 8 mill without WW support. Her singles perform exceptionally in the US but do very well WW as well.

Deja Vu isn't even going to hit the top ten at pop. Hard to kill anyone's career if you can't accomplish that with an overhyped lead-off single. Oh how the mighty have fallen! :o

She does ok world wide she doesent sell as much as people want to think she does. For someone who wins tons of grammys and has a lot of hype her sales are below standars. She should have sold about the same amount that USher sold w/Confessions w/all the #1 hits and grammys she won.

I don't think THUNDA THIGHS (that's my favorite nickname for Beyonce) killed Monica's career cause After The Storm still hit #1 & went Platinum. Besides "U Should've Known Better" the Top 20 of the Hot 100 the next year.
i DO think Beyonce killed "Knock, Knock" & "Get It Off" but it was kind of predictable since few people have had success with 2 singles out at once
&
LeToya could have success if "She Don't" climbs in between "deja vu" and B's 2nd single

pubescentmonster, Bee actually sold 11 million worldwide. And she only had 2 #1's while Usher had 4 #1's and a rerelease (which I think B'Day will take advantage of this time around). So, if Usher is certified 9 million and Beyonce sold 4.2 million - that makes sense. Does anyone know what Usher's worldwide number was?

Knock, Knock was a great song. And U Shoulda Known Better was great too. I think Monica should work with Rodney Jerkins again. Angel Of Mine, to me, is the best song she's ever made. Perfect.

I use to like beyonce, but the way people talk about her, makes me dilike her a lot, and she didn't kill anyone's career.

That inflated number came out of a press release that has all Beyonce stans convinced she is God. DIL sold 8.5 Million as of 2005. I don't see how an album could sell almost 3 Million copies without any promo, in a years time.
