So far this year, the #1 spot on Mediatraffic's Global Track Chart has been occupied by a female. :o
#1s of 2006: Hung Up - 9 wks Sorry - 7 wks Hips Don't Lie - 6 wks S.O.S. - 2 wks Stupid Girls - 2 wks
With all these major artists releasing songs at the same time, who will actually make it to #1 and for how long?
My Predictions: Public Affair - 3 wks Deja Vu - 2 wks Get Together - 1 wk Ain't No Other Man - 1 wk

I think they'll all go #1. Not sure how long though. Beyonce will be it for too long, that's forsure.

Is Jessica THAT big in the world? i didn't even know she was in contention for #1. I'm also surprised how well Madonna is doing.

Jessica is pretty big.....I think her an Beyonce will probably have the longest time at No.1......and as much as I love Madonna, I don't think "Get Together" is gonna go number 1. it's not doing much on any charts so far, and most people I know aren't really a fan.

I'm also surprised how well Madonna is doing. How are you surprised Madonna is doing so well? She's HUGE worldwide. I also doubt Get Together will make it to the top. I think Christina and Beyonce will. As for Jessica, I didn't even know she was that big worldwide. If she is, I think she might get there too.

I have no idea if Jessica is big worldwide or not, but I think her song seems like it will be a huge hit outside the U.S.

Aint No Other Man will be at the longest from those songs u included. Just look at the Itunes chart from other countries
#1 Australia #2 UK
Why would Jessica Simpson reach #1 on the world chart? U know shes basically a nobody outside of the US/Canada right?
If we go by popularity it will definately be Christina.

Jessica has had 2 minor hits (IWLYF & With You), internationally...up until last year. As crappy as "These Boots" was, it was a pretty big hit throughout the world. Especially in Europe, where "Boots" was Top 5 & Top 10 in almost every country. You can expect "Public Affair" to enjoy similar or even better success that "Boots" did. PA is the better track and is also very "pop."
I think the artist who will have the longest stay at #1 will probably be Christina with ANOM. I don't see Beyonce's "Deja Vu" catching on the way "Crazy In Love" did but I will probably reach #1 on MediaTraffic's Global chart.

Jessica is faaaaaaaar from being a nobody outside the US and Canada.........take that from someone in Australia.......she's huge everywhere, there is yet to be one magazine that she hasn't appeared on the cover of (lol)..........she's pretty big, especially in "celebrity gossip" sense, she's in more tabloids than anyone else at the moment.

Per Mediatraffic,
It's not 100% perfect, but it's pretty damn close.

U.S. radio is really starting to piss me off especially their reluctance to play Pink and Madonna of lately.
