I'm not trying to be anal, trivial or anything like that... but I keep seeing these posts about "X-Tina" in refererence to Christina Aguilera and it got me wondering about this...
People often abbreviate Christmas with the "X-mas" acronym... the "X" standing for "Christ"... So, it follows that the correct acronym for Christina would be "X-ina"... not "X-tina"... after all, it's not called "Christtmas", right???
Any opinions on this???

X-Tina is pronounced better against the tongue. "X-Ina" doesnt even look right plus people would like its Xena.

Shouldn't it be c**tina? :) Sorry, but that is not an appropriate nickname for a musical genius and visionary like our beloved Christina.

"Christina" is just fine by me. "X-tina" sounds kinda like "extinct".

Shouldn't it be c**tina? :) I've heard some call her "Slutina" like what they did with J.Lo by calling her "J-Ho".

X-ina...lol...U got a point...lol. Thank you... I thought so... I mean we don't celebrate not "Christtmas" in December do we??? X-tina = "Christtina"... so maybe X-tina would work if she spelled her name with the extra "T"... lol... OK... see what the all-star break does... gives me extra free time to overthink things... I'll be back in mostly stealth mode for another 2 1/2 months or so... enjoy the topic... peace.

"X-ina" sounds like eczema.
Does Christina Aguilera call herself "X-tina", or is that just a nickname her fans have made up, or is it in reference to her non-PG rated music videos?

From what I gather, the X is short for cross which sounds like chris, not christ...
However, the T is silent in Christmas The T is very important in the name Christina so it makes sense for it to be X-tina rather than X-ina!!

If she used X-ina it'd sound like Xena and all the haters would go around saying she copied Xena or something, plus X-Tina sounds better.

Actually, if you want to get technical, the X does indeed stand for "the cross"... which many people use to represent Christ... I'm not sure where the "sounds like" aspect comes from... anyways... this point forward I'll be using "X-ina"... unless she wants to add a "T" to her first name...

LOL! Yeah, who would want to copy half the things Christina is accused of? Christina herself If Christina copied half the things she was accused of, she wouldn't even be around as an artist.
