I was wondering if you can sign up to Itunes from other countries and download their music. I'm sure they have a different selection with stuff that is not released in the U.S.A. and that it may be interesting to buy music sometimes from them instead of the American Itunes.
I haven't tried yet. I'm just asking first.
Thanks! Carlo

I don't think you can.
They do have a better selection of stuff in other countries. I'm into this band from Sweden called BWO (Bodies Without Organs) and their stuff is available in the overseas stores, but so far, it's not available in the U.S. store. I have requested them to carry it in the U.S. one, but it hasn't worked so far. I guess it wasn't possible because of licensing and all that other legal stuff.

I think you may have to get a different account for each country though I have never tried to do it that way. You raise a good question.

I tried with iTunes Spain and I couldn't :( I went to the Spanish web site and everything. It re-intalled iTunes on my computer (on top of the one I already had) and it gave me access again only to the U.S. music. I guess they have some way of detecting from which country you are logging.... How would a European person decides to come for vacation to the U.S. with his/her laptop and access iTunes? Would access be denied??
If somebody knows any tips to be able to access international iTunes, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

I think it goes by the billing address for your credit card. My friend was in Japan for a year and she could still buy only from the USA iTunes store.
