The Madonna, Depeche Mode, Kelly Osbourne, Missy Elliott, Pussycat Dolls, Tori Alamaze, Dido, Enya, Rupee, Vivian Green and most of the Destiny's Child ones and a few others actually had CD singles/CD maxis out in the stores.

The vinyl ones are not that easily available. Some stores do stock them and it's usually DJs that buy them. But most DJs in clubs and at radio stations often get their stuff from the labels as promos.

But in most cases, CD singles are not really release that often. Vinyls are still released, but still not that often. Many Urban releases have 12" vinyl singles. And some other releases have vinyl maxi releases with dance mixes on them.

Mariah's "It's Like That" was number one on the Billboard Dance/Maxi Singles Sales chart last year for sales of just the 12" maxi.

LOL that's so funny. The weird thing is, on iTunes, there are four versions: 2 are off different versions of the album I guess, the Lil Jon Remix... (and a radio edit off NOW! but that was released this year.)

I'm curious to see what Ace of Bases "The Sign" and "All That She Wants" sold. Also, I'm curious about All-4-One's "I Swear" and both Boyz II Men singles in '94 "I'll Make Love To You" and "On Bended Knee".  '94 was a good year for many. :)

Looking at all of those terrific songs from the 90s really makes me miss it. This decade has mostly been a dud. :(
