They'll be shooting a video for this shortly. This is the power-ballad which will surely boost record sales again and make even more detractors come out of the woodwork. www.theprp.com/(3:03 PM PST 05/19/2006)

Sooo...did this go for adds everywhere yet? I only saw it on the list for Rock adds on R&R last week. And Rock has no notable activity this week, while Active Rock gave it a fair amount of adds. It's N&A there, with a so-far low spin total. I can't see that it's even been noticed by Alternative.
Their MySpace page supposedly premiered the video today. They had two stills from it I saw earlier: One of Zacky dressed in black, ski-mask on, ball bat in hand, in mid-air, like he broke in somewhere to rob it; and then there was a shot of M. with his arms up clutching the bars of a prison cell. That oughta have turned out great.
Anyway, any news from more ravenous chart hawks than myself?

I don't like that video. A guitar solo on top of a casket? Lame.
and why would they rob that store?

Um, it's just showing hypothetical life choices and illustrates keeping your loved ones close.
M. reluctantly leaves his pregnant girlfriend behind for that "one last knockover with the gang," gets caught, ends up in jail. She visits him in the slammer, leaves in tears and gets broadsided by a car, killing her, but somehow her unborn child is saved, who visits Mommy's grave approx. 3 years later with Papa Shadows.
That's his real girlfriend (of 12 years!), by the way, however, she's not pregnant and they don't have a kid.
Warner Bros. is infuriatingly dropping the ball on this song and video from what I can tell. At least I heard it on the radio for the first time this past week. The radio edit sucks, though, because instead of the coda, they repeat the chorus again and fade it, which sounds lame because both pieces of the chorus are melodically identical, so it starts to sound monotonous when you start to spin the whole thing through a second time.
And yeah, Baby Slash's appearance atop Stephanie Seym--I mean, M's girlfriend's coffin, is kind of cheesy, because he just materializes on it and vaporizes, from what I remember; he could have at least stepped up onto it...
