Clear Channel AC station WLTW (Lite) has been Number 1 in the Arbitron ratings every month I remember since one of its sister station changed to Urban WWPR (Power) and challenged WQHT (Hot 97) which had been Number 1 some of the time. Now Emmis (owners of Urban AC WRKS, CHR-Rhythmic WQHT, and Smooth Jazz WQCD in Market 1) are back to having a station tied for first. The big news about this month's ratings on radio-info was the big fall of WCBS-FM since it changed from Oldies to Jack. WCBS-FM fell behind WNEW which had been struggling since Opie and Anthony misbehaved and the station went from FM Talk through multiple format changes.

I've read that WCBS is now currently dead last among the FMs.[/font]

It's also way down in Nassau County & the New Jersey market listed in R&R. Looks like Jack will be like every other format, very popular in some areas, and not so popular in others.

Probably is a bit of a backlash from CBS-FM listeners. A lot of people may be ignoring 101.1 because they or someone they know is mad about Oldies being gone.
New York, San Francisco, and Boston are the only places where the Variety Hits format is really tanking. Everywhere else it's either taking off (like St. Louis or Austin) or doing just about average (like Chicago or Baltimore).
