Nobody started a thread for this, so I figured I'd point out that Rick switched numbers #40 and #39 this week for no apparent reason. Making this even more confusing, his website switches #40 and #37 from what was heard on the show. And, yet again, Rick skipped over "Never Leave You". He played "White Flag" as an extra-by-request before #35. He later played Crazy Town's "Butterfly" as an extra between #12 and #11.

And on the website, it lists Maria in Ludacris's place, when Maria actually fell off and Ludacris was played on the show.
The sure shot was Christina Aguilera "The Voice Within".

That's a great song.
Did Rick say what the number one songs were in other countries?

I don't understand the random changes that Rick makes to the chart. Is there a reasoning behind it?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the blocking when they're deciding which songs go in which segement. Maybe a montage sounds better coming back from a commercial break instead of between songs.
In the case of moving around #1 songs, I think they just run out of ideas and want a new song there so there's something else to talk about.

So, was that the actual order or the Rick Dees order?

So, was that the actual order or the Rick Dees order? The Rick Dees order. R&R had them the other way around.
