I've noticed that in the UK, follow-ups to big hits almost always make the top 10, even if those very songs would have bombed if released first. Take "Going Under" for instance. I kinda like the song, but there's no way it would have debuted at #8 in the UK if it weren't for BMTL. Expect it to drop quickly next week.

Other examples of the theory:
T.A.T.U's "Not Gonna Get Us" only making #7 R. Kelly "Snake" only making #10
Both of these dropped rapidly...

Other examples of the theory: T.A.T.U's "Not Gonna Get Us" only making #7 R. Kelly "Snake" only making #10 "only"? Actually, I meant that had they been the first release off of the album instead of the follow-up to a big hit, they would have done much worse. But I guess that's what you meant in your reply, so yeah, good examples...

Jamelia's "Superstar" goes up to #6 from 8 as midweeks showed. Anyone has high expectations for "Beauty and the Beats"... erm, I mean "Thank You"? Louise dropped to #17 from 5. What is wrong with you people, "Pandora's Kiss" is a charity single! Lene Marlin "You weren't there" #59 (another Top 60 high one, Len!) Also, congrats goes to Gareth Gates for another Top 12 album. I think it's gonna stay on the charts for a long time cos for the holidays, mums and pops wants to buy the album for their kids.

A 3rd top 10 in the UK for Delta :) Her album also rised 3 spots to #13 despite 7 debuts above her!

Why would he drop? His album is double disc and he slept with Jordan. It should be going up if anything. Up, up, up.. higher higher! Up, up, up can only go up from here!

It is double disc like Shania's so it makes people want to buy it more cos they think they're getting more for the value.
If YOU think it's going down, you better go buy it then. Have fun buying it tomorrow when you buy Rachel's! If you don't buy Gareth's album, everyone will think you're uncool and unfunkydory. I don't want you to feel unpopular, so be sure to buy it! It's cool to be in the IN CROWD!

LOOOOOL ur making me laugh, i wouldnt waste my money on that stuttering git. Just because I am subconciously persuading you, I bet you're gonna buy it tomorrow! Coz tomorrow you're gonna be listening to it at the store and be like "Hey, it's a pretty good album." Then my work is done. Once you buy it, come back and post about it and I'll give you a cyberhug. Yes, I am admitting I am giving you a coupon valid for one cyberhug. I remember this was what happened to me when I bought Joy Enriquez's "Joy Enriquez"!
