Nikki Webster still in the house! I think "Dancing In The Streets" may end up being on the year-end Australian charts.

Wooohoo go Delta! Not only is her album #1 for a 21st week, it's also been certified 8 times platinum. Her NMNI single is up a spot to #2 (unfair competition at #1!) and the IE single is up 4 spots to #43 for its 20th week in the top 50. I've said it before but I'll say it again: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... not only that but WELL DESERVED.
She now pulls ahead into outright 4th spot ahead of Shania Twain's "Come On Over" for longest running #1 album in Australian chart history. I think she can stick there awhile longer yet.
Holly Valance's single has underperformed... I think this album is going to flop.

Ooh.. I didn't notice Holly's single came out already. Dotmusic gave it a great review.
Did Holly make any speculations on why Delta's selling so well? Do you think Delta would've gotten a cross-promotion deal with "Neighbours" if Holly never succeeded?

Delta Clobbers Farnham
In any other week John Farnham would have had a convincing number one debut but up against Delta Goodrem's ARIA winning streak he has been clobbered.
Delta Goodrem's 'Innocent Eyes' is number one again today and Farnham's 'One Voice' debuted at number two but Delta was 14,046 CD sales in front of John.
Farnham's 'One Voice' sold 28,628 units last week, Delta's 'Innocent Eyes' sold 42,674. A gold record in Australia is 35,000. Delta earned another gold trophy in just one week after 31 weeks on the chart. On sales of 28,628 units, Farnham's 'One Voice' is yet to go gold.
'Innocent Eyes' is now eight times platinum in Australia and with another number one position and 21 weeks on top moves in front of Shania Twain's 'Come On Over' to take a stand-alone number four spot for longest charting number one album ever in Australia.
If she can manage just four more weeks at number, Delta will tie with the Australian record holder, John Farnham with 'Whispering Jack'.
Topping Dire Straits 'Brothers In Arms', the international record holder on the Australian chart, may take some time yet but one step at a time. 'Brothers In Arms' spent 34 weeks at number one.
On this week's chart, after Delta's and John's albums, sales drop off substantially with only Dido's 'Life For Rent' and Powderfinger's 'Vulture Street' selling more than 10,000 units.
The Australian Top 10 accounted for 128,217 album sales last week.
