Wow "Breathe" only managed to debut at #50? Is Michelle popular in Australia? I don't follow the international scene as much as I should.

Go Silverchair! My college friend here has been introducing them to me and I have introduced her to Daniel's fiancee Natalie Imbruglia!

Good to see lots of excitement on the singles chart!
As for the albums... go Delta! I think this will be her last week at #1 for the next few weeks as Kylie's album is out now and is sure to debut at #1 and stay there for a few weeks. Kylie rocks, but I'd love to see Delta stick there next week, it'd be a total shock.
Michelle Branch is semi-popular here. Both her albums made the top 50 and stayed there for a short time. She gets moderate airplay... I thought she'd do better than #50!

Delta Goodrem has the number one album yet again in Australia. That makes 24 weeks in total at number one so far for 'Innocent Eyes'. If Delta can stay at number one again next week she will tie with John Farnham's 'Whispering Jack' for the longest charting Australian number one of all time. Do it for two more weeks and she will own the title. It will be interesting to see if Delta stays on top next week. Kylie's 'Body Language' album is released this week placing them head to head. However, Kylie has a battle on her hands. Her last album 'Fever' sold more than 40,000 units in the first week so time will tell. Delta's dominance is so great that last week after 34 weeks on the chart she managed to sell 30,385 albums and that is over 5,000 more units than last week. At number two, John Farnham's 'One Voice' was tailing by more than 11,000 units. 'One Voice' sold 19,360 last week. Both Farnham and Goodrem are managed by Glenn Wheatley. That gives Wheatley's Talentworks management company a sales tally of 50,195 out of the 125,535 albums sold last week in Australia.

I hope Kylie drops a truckload of 'Body Language' CDs on Delta's head.
That'll show her.

LOL! How could you say that about Delta, she has innocent eyes. U better get in a Delta loving mood since you're coming to Australia soon (did you get my PM answering your questions?).
Are you going to pick up Kylie's album while you're hear? Get Delta's too!
Kylie will knock Delta off for a few weeks but Delta will climb back up on top after that.

Holly would strip in a bar if it helped her career, she's just so predictable... Delta would just say *no... not me, not I*

Okay, so at Sean's suggestion I listened to a few Delta tracks that I hadn't heard before, and I'm still not a fan. At least I would definitely pick Kylie over Delta.
Kylie's songs come across as so heartfelt and meaningful. When she sings 'La La La...' I feel like she really means it.
Delta has some song about someone playing a piano for their mother or something. Like EVERYONE doesn't already sing about that.
Puh-lease.

Puh-lease.LOL true... Kylie's lyrics like "loveeeee at first sight" and "c'mon dance move your body" are pretty original. I wonder who would win in a Delta vs Kylie showdown... Delta could do her *da da da da da da* from "Innocent Eyes" and Kylie could do her *la la la la la*.
