This song is very old (March '04), but it still gets played on Pepsi Musica. I really like it now. A+! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a full audio clip online. Disappointing.
It's much better than his Italian counterpart Tiziano Ferro's "Tardes Negras," which also gets played on Pepsi Musica.
It completely flopped on Billboard's Latin charts.

This song is just the Spanish version of his hit "Almeno Stavolta" which came out last year.
I wouldn't call Nek and Tiziano counterparts.... true, they are both very popular mainstream Italian artists... but I guess I good hyptothetical analogy would be, if they were recording in English, Nek would be all over HAC and Tiziano all over Pop. Plus, Nek is older and has had many albums. Tiziano is only 23 years old or something and is on his second album.

I just called them counterparts since they're both Italians who have successfully crossed over into Spanish markets. Thanks for posting!

Is al menos ahora an original song or a cover of an english language tune? The piano lick and the vocal melody sound familiar but I can't put my finger on it. If it is a remake, the original probably came out in the late 80's or early 90's. Any help will be appreciated.

I really dig Nek's music, but I have to admit I didn't really liked LAS COSAS QUE DEFENDERE and since then he sorta fell off my radar. This is from his "greatest hits" album, right?
I heard this song a couple of times, and it sure is catchy enough. However, I refuse to pay $18 for an album full of songs I already have even if it does include a couple of new tracks (I have his first four studio albums). I know...I'm cheap.
