i looooove RBD.. maybe i shouldn't be proud of it lol, but since i love the show Rebelde, i love the group.. and the album is fun, has some good catchy songs
i guess US Latin radio is a little late on this, the second single Solo Quédate En Silencio has already been out, and they're picking a third single now
although i'm kind of surprised radio picked up on it at all, so it's better late than never i guess lol

Can I anyone give me an introduction of who this group is? Is this one of those popstars group or are they just an ordinary new group? I was introduced to their first two singles earlier this month... Thanks.

Hey guys, whats up, can anyone give me information on this groups sales? (for us and international if possible?) Cause it looks like they are doing pretty good on the latin charts off billboard, their song is at #2 and their CD is at #3 and its been out i don't know how many weeks!, I can't believe they have outsold Thalia here in US (have they? lol) with their LP. they also did pretty good at the Premio Juventud tonite on univision, and I read some where that their CD i think it was released this week, sold 126,000 copies in one day in Mexico, which is platinum since 100,000=platinum over there. so i guess they are holding up their own!

that's right, they went Platinum in just a few hours in Mexico with the new album.. crazy lol i think the first album is close to 1 million sold world wide, not sure about how much just in the US, but like rodro said it's Diamond in Mexico no idea about the live album the new album is supposed to be released in the US on October 4.. can't wait to get it they remade Kelly Clarkson's "Gone" into a Spanish, "Me Voy".. it's actually pretty good

OH NO THEY DIDN'T!!!! Gone? ??? :O I like Solo Quedate En Silencio. The soap opera seems boring, they are not that bad singing though

their first album is full of poppy catchy songs, which is alright, but their second CD seems more solid which is good especially if they want to prove haters wrong who say that their success is only due to the SO!

i think their success is only due to the show though lol, despite how good or bad the music actually may be.. i know that's the only reason i like them, is because of the show.. i love the cast, love the show, and they use the music in the show, and the group is in the actual storyline of the show, so of course i'm interested in the music too.. it's really smart how they get us hooked like that lol

yeah ur right lol, cause the show does help a grip, but hopefully they are getting a good cutt from all of this cause i know for sure that the producer of the SO, is becoming a millionare off of this because he manages the gruop and the writes, produces the SO and writes some songs for the group(well he is credited) and he owns the image rights, and this summer when i went to Mexico, they were everywhere!!!!!!! on candy wrappers magazines(they have their own) commercials, promo posters, and anything u can think of, plus some of them have their own promo contracts that they have, but i'm pretty sure the guy is getting the biggest cut out of everything, and the worst part for them is that they have to film the SO during the week and every weekend while i was over there they would go on Tour around teh country and sell-out everywhere!!!!! and i think they even have a record for the most sell-out concerts in some arena in Mexico City i think its like 6 concerts that they did back to back and the attendance each time is around 25,000 people, so it must be good be the producer guy lol, cause all he has to do is come up with more things to put the gruop in, well atleast it looks like they are having fun lol!!!!

oh for sure, they're eeeeverywhere, and Pedro Damian is definitely a happy man lol
they have so much merchandise it's crazy.. besides the show, music, tours, there's a Rebelde magazine, tv talkshow (Adicción R), radio show, bracelets, folders, candy, puzzles, board game, clothes, stickers, magnets, tattoos, and i'm sure i'm forgetting some stuff, and now the newest thing is a Rebelde comic book that will be coming out.. they're really making the most of this while it lasts lol
i just read in an interview one of the actors, Christian, saying he's not a millionaire, but he's doing well for himself.. i'm sure some of the others that are bigger stars with more recognition like Anahí and maybe Dulce María are pretty well off now, especially with their endorsements and things, and they'll have a lot of opportunities after the novela i'm sure.. a lot of them want to get into movies
