I heard this hella tyte Regional Mexican song on the radio the other day in the car. (so I couldn't jot down some of the lyrics from it to Google it or anything)
It sampled "La Cucaracha" and it was hella catchy. The guys didn't sing that part, they just played a sample during the chorus.
It was the first time I've heard it, so I'm thinking it must be new-ish.

Only version I have heard in recent years was done by Kumbia Kings and it switched it up to a song about marijuana.

No, not them...the lead singer in this one was your average old-sounding male singer on banda-type songs. Thanks though! I was afraid I'd get no replies at all.
I seem to remember a girl in part of the song. Maybe I'm imagining it, cuz I was kind of wiped out when I heard it.
