I decided to go by how long a song was spent at #1 on my personal chart on this one, and then by how successful the song was, since there was more than just this. All spent minimally 3 weeks at #1.

Wow, you have good taste. Five of the eight #1's you have here are songs I've given A's.
However, like I've already decided before, "No One Knows" gets the edge here because every element of the songs sound is exceptional. The multiple spontaneous riffs, the polyphonic texture, Dave Grohl's exemplary drumming, it blows me away.
However, "Seven Nation Army", "Times Like These", "Can't Stop" and "Just Because" are also quality material.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

For the heck of it, here's where they all landed on my chart.
No One Knows: #1(7) Can't Stop: #1(6) Seven Nation Army: #2 Times Like These: #5 The Leaving Song Part II: #14 Try Honesty: #24 Creatures (For A While): #35 Just Because: #40
To clarify, I think "Creatures" is better than "Try Honesty", "The Leaving Song Part II" really did deserve top 10 status, and "Just Because" shouldn't have charted at all. Coincidentally, the top 3 is extremely close, but I go with "No One Knows". Not because of that extra week, but mainly for what SingingSparrow described.

None of those songs never made my top 40, But 311 "Creatures" was very close, so I voted for them. :)

"Just Because" is the only one that made my Top 50 and it peaked at #5, so I'll give it to that.

I like a lot of those songs. Queens of the Stone Age was really good, but I gotta go with the Foo Fighters here.

None of them charted on my top 20 chart. But the one that was close to debuting was Foo Fighters so I will go with that one.

I'm only reviving this one because I feel I was being innovative BTW, others that hit the pole position were: Radiohead - "There There" The White Stripes - "The Hardest Button To Button" STP - "All In The Suit That You Wear"

In a near tie, "No One Knows" nipped "7 Nation Army". "Can't Stop" was really close, too, and I also like "Times Like These" and "The Leaving Song".

Somehow I missed this the first time around.
No One Knows: #1 (8 weeks) Can't Stop: #3 Seven Nation Army: #3 Times Like These: #17 The Leaving Song Part II: #1 (5 weeks) Try Honesty: #4 Creatures (For A While): #1 (3 weeks) Just Because: #2
Not a bad selection of #1's there. I went with "No One Knows" based on the numbers, although I hate to see AFI and Billy Talent sitting with zero votes at the moment.

I voted for 311, but all the songs were mediocre to me or just plain bad.

I voted for "Try Honesty" but it was between that and Seven Nation Army...
I went with Try Honesty because it didn't have any votes, and I've heard that song more than Seven Nation Army
