I'm curious to know which latest R&B female ballad do you prefer more:
New York native Alicia Keys' "You Don't Know My Name" OR Texan Beyonce's "Me, Myself and I."
As much as I love Alicia Keys' "You Don't Know My Name," I will have to go with Beyonce's "Me, Myself and I," by the slimmest margins. It just seems the most radio friendliness of the two. I guess I'm all about the commercial sound. LOL.
My vote is for "Me, Myself, and I."

This is so hard I think I will wait to vote. These two songs are currently two of my favorite songs so it is very hard to decide. On one hand Alicia's single is unconventional and a little risky. I mean a 6 minute song that has a break out spoken word section in the middle. (Who'd thunk it?) But MMI has a great message not just for females but for anyone to stand up and not to be afraid to depend on yourself.

"You Don't Know My Name," even though the spoken parts annoy me now.

MMI I just dont like You don't know my name at all. I don't care for the video or the song. Overrated Alicia Keys as usual.

"Me, Myself, and I," neither song is great, but Beyoncé's is less bland.

"Me, Myself and I", since the dialogue on YDKMN annoys me.

if you think YDKMN is bland, you need to clean your ears out-- with a knife...

Me Myself and I.
While i like Alicia OVERALL more than Beyonce...You Dont Know My Name is just plain annoying. Alicia is straining her voice thru the WHOLE thing, and when she talks she seems very uneducated and its quite annoying...at least Beyonce SINGS on her song throughout it
