This is getting quite a few adds under the radar.
Could this track which Eminem calls "probably his most emotional, personal recording yet" and "another song for Hailee" make a huge impact on mainstream radio?
This has a lot of potential to me upon listen. I wouldn't be suprised if "Mockingbird" did for a third single (if it will become the third single, of course) just as "Over And Over" did for Tim McGraw, where this track has more of a general message more can relate to and resonate to many listeners.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

This is a great song. One of the top two on "Encore".

Would radio stop playing so many Eminem songs?

Am I the only one who notices that there seems to be a new Eminem thread every 3.64 minutes?

This is good but I think they should release Toy Soldiers.

I love this song a lot! :) His rapping style goes back to the days of "97 Bonnie & Clyde", except this song has a positive message. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a future single

Wow, just when I thought I was sick of Eminem comes this song. This is great, maybe my favorite song ever by him on first listen. I hope this doesn't suffer the same fate as "Stan" (waiting too long to release it) or "Hailie's Song" (never an official release). They should waste no time and make this the second single, but I guess it's too late for that.

This is what I meant when I said there's bound to be some excellent tracks on his CD. Sure the novelty songs suck, but songs like this make up for it.
I've only heard this a few times, but what I've heard so far impresses me. Haha...yeah definitely better than these first two singles...

I don't like it. I still think his best song was "Lose Yourself" and "Stan" was good too.

Great track! I don't like it quite as much as "Hailie's Song" or "Stan", but it's still a great addition to the library of "serious" Eminem songs.

I heard this today and it's very good, not as good as Stan or Without Me, but right up there.

It's much much better than the Toby Keith and daughter version on his GH2 album that is flying up the country charts!

Single or not, it's up to #38 on Rhythmic and #58 on Pop with a decent bullet on both.
I like this (more than "Just Lose It"), but the very end is a bit weird. It's this nice song until all of a sudden, "And if that mockingbird don't sing and that ring don't shine, I'ma break that birdie's neck/I'll go back to the jeweler who sold it to you and they'd give me every carat/Don't f**k with Dad". Huh?

I like this - I think it'll evertually be a single, but probably closer to the end of the album's run. And I agree that this is 1,000 times better than the "song" Toby Keith has out now.

Huh? No wonder you don't understand it, you have the lyrics wrong. It's "I'll go back to the Jeweler who sold it to ya, and make him eat every carot, don't f*** with dad"

Is this topic being constantly shuffled back and forth forums everytime a new rumor surfaces as to whether it's a single or not, or is there more than one topic?

i dunno, but i think this is a great track. i think that 'encore' pretty much reveals eminem's insecurities and immaturity but 'mockingbird' is definetely one of the few good songs.
'like toy soldiers' is also great. in 'encore', i probably only liked about 4 songs, which is not alot. lol.

Everyone is saying this is one of the best tracks he's done but I find it kinda dumb. He has alot of material that is ten times better than this crap

I'm assuming it's a single since they premiered it's video on the TRL awards today on MTV.
