I think this would have just added to the long history of flop Bond singles. The production sounds very cheap. The jazz mix is nice though.

It remind sme of toxic. I always thought Toxic coulda been a James Bond theme.
think it could have done well at pop if PUSHED, but some labels seems to have forgetten how to do that so it probably wouldnt have done well. Maybe if Britney sang it.

they should have released this song over seas where they appreciate "pop" alot better then in the U.S.
She coulda made a bigger name for her self over seas. The song is reall hot, I havebeen listening to it non stop for 2 days lol.
Mya does pop really well....she might want to consider more pop for her next album.

Mya does pop really well....she might want to consider more pop for her next album. I thought I was crazy for thinking that but considering how the only format that she went Top 10 on with a "Moodring" single was Pop, should make her want to consider investing in it more. I doubt she'd completly cut off R&B since that's what's she really known as...

She doesnt push herself all over the place...which can be a good thing or a bad but I think she will have a LONG lasting career...not a career based off 15 minutes of fame, but a career based off long jevity. She iss a trained singer and dancer, she writes and she has ben in 2 big movies and will be doing more. I look forward to whatever she comes up with in the future.

These songs are pretty good. :) Speaking of Mya did she ever release a third single from "Moodring"? ??? No, which was disappointing. But at least she made my prediction about her album selling under 750,000 copies true. I was hoping for "No Sleep Tonight" or "You" the most.

I wonder why she didnt release another single.....she might still release one. If not she might want to consider switching labels because her album was EXCELENT, but I think Beyonce stole her spot light and her label did not push her enough. If they cant promote her, she needs to go somewhere hat can. Mya has a crossover audience, TRL loves her and both her videos stayed on TRL so she has an audience but she needed to promote! prmote! promote! when going against a song like "crazy in love" and "baby boy"
She had a fair amount of promotion but she needed alot more when goin against the hottest female in the game at that moment.

She won't release another single, her album's dead now, another single would just be a waste of time and money. She did get pretty good promotion on this one, I saw her videos and adds a lot. At least she went Gold, TCorey said she sold between 500-600K.

I really like this, is there any chance of this seeing the light of day? It kind of reminds me of an update of a cheesy song from the late eighties, but it works!
