Another old Aaliyah track has leaked. I don't know when this is from, but I think I hear Tweet at the end. I'm assuming it was recorded not too long before she died. It samples Lisa Stasfield's "All Around The World". I really hope this is not the quality of the unreleased material they plan on releasing on her first full-length posthumous album this year, because then there's really no point in that release at all. I heard there wouldn't be any singles released from it and now I can understand why. rapidshare.de/files-en/488446/Aaliyah_-_Where_Could_He_Be_Ft_Missy__UNRELEASED_.mp3.html

I really hope this is not the quality of the unreleased material they plan on releasing on her first full-length posthumous album this year, because then there's really no point in that release at all. Most unreleased tracks are unreleased for a reason. But putting it on a album is simply something for the fans. I'm sure you of all people understand that concept. Most fans want to hear the unreleased tracks despite how good or bad they may be but most fans dont want their favorite artist to die so they can hear them. :'( I'm not a huge Aaliyah fan but I would even love to have another full album from her. With that being said, this track is not that bad at all! Its actually pretty HOT! I'm pleased with the 2 new tracks I have heard from her. I'm sure Aaliyah fans are extremely happy right now. The beat is HOT!

This song is boring. But then again it is Aaliyah. I think someones just mad because Aaliyah had success unlike someone who you have a banner for, whos single will flop harder than ruben studdard trying to do a dive.

"Where Could He Be" is an instant impact at Urban with 48 spins. It's also instant impact at CHR/Rhythmic with 30 spins.

Aaliyah's vocals are stronger than I would have expected for an unreleased track this far removed from prime material. The production is on the weak side though. It really really sounds several years old.

No one wants more Aaliyah material than I do, but this doesn't do the trick for me. It doesn't even sound like an "Aaliyah" song. I wish they saved "Don't Know What To Tell Ya" for the Aaliyah album coming out later this year so it had a true-quality lead single there.
Can't Missy go and touch the production up on this one still?

Can't Missy go and touch the production up on this one still? I heard that Missy and Aaliyah's family are mad that these songs leaked because they were never intended to be leaked in this state. I think Missy and Timbaland were supposed to rework all of these songs that are leaking.

These fans who keep leaking her songs need to stop out of respect for her and the fact that they're going to put a damper on the single potential of the real project.

I love this song. I thinkits as good as an better than alot of stuff form the "aaliyah" album. Even in those rare instances that we like the same artist, you always list as your favorite the very song's I'd consider the artist's weakest work, and vice versa. This is better than the stuff on the Aaliyah album? Wow, I'm speechless.

Maybe he thinks if he likes what's generally regarded as trash, it means that he has taste for underrated songs or something.

46 of its 48 Urban spins are from WUSL Philadelphia or WERQ Baltimore. 27 of its 31 CHR-Rhythmic spins are on KYLD San Francisco or WPGC Washington, D.C.

Is this a single? I pretty sure "Don't Know What To Tell YA" was supposed to be the 3rd single from "I Care 4 U" but I don't know waht happened with that mess.

They cancelled it because "Come Over" not surprisingly didn't do as well as expected. It was a bad move IMO, as "DKWTTY" would've been a hit regardless of how "CO" did at radio.

Her label will supposedly be releasing a collection in April that will feature two CDs, one of all her singles, and another of unreleased material, as well as a DVD with documentary footage following her life and career.
