I figured we should have a new thread open for the new week. Sticky please! :)
What is going on with the bullets this week? I can't believe that Nelly is below +200, yet it is still performing extremely well on the RHy and Urban charts. IMO, this song sounds more pop friendly than Air Force Ones or even Hot In Herre, yet will it fall flat and not score a top 10 spot?
Poor Outrageous! :( Looks like the embracement for Britney on radio is running out. Granted this was not a great choice for a 4th single (*cough* Breath On Me *cough*), I thought a top 20 spot was deserved. It MAY still have ashot at moving up into the low 20s this week.
Look at Hilary Duff EXPLODE onto the pop chart! Did this song go for adds already?

GOOD! The last thing I want to see is another Dilemma. But with rampant questions of bullets being down, did another station get removed from the panel?

Nelly has slowed down and I'm happy about that. His song is boring and unoriginal, and his "taking the safe root" by re-creating the formula from "Dilemma" may backfire, at Pop at least.
Black Eyed Peas jump over Nelly already, now there's a song that's original.

But with rampant questions of bullets being down, did another station get removed from the panel? I don't see questions about that rampaging around the board, but to answer the question, "No." I see Ashlee Simpson spending about 5 weeks at #1.

I think "Outrageous" was an obvious choice for a fourth single. Radio was all over it.

I think "Outrageous" was an obvious choice for a fourth single. Radio was all over it. Unfortunately, WFLZ was all over it before "Toxic" even came out, so they pretty much burned out on it back then and haven't pushed it back into heavy rotation.

Look at Hilary Duff EXPLODE onto the pop chart!Β Did this song go for adds already? It went for adds (and was most added) just this past week. Getting played as an extra on AT40 certainly didn't hurt either.

Well, two things have contributed to its sudden stop. 1) "My Prerogative" is supposed to be released in September. 2) "Outrageous" has virtually no promotion (including no video). In light of (1), I think it was a mistake to release a 4th single from In the Zone, because that single would either have conflicted with MP or would have been virtually a throwaway single. In this case, it's the latter.

I'm very glad "Let's Get It Started" has regained it's bullet.
I like the new Nelly song it's much better than "#1" or "Hot In Herre"'. "My Place" will hopefully make the top 10 and maybe kill "Slow Motion"
"Outrageous" is another "Angels" except "Angels" was better.
"Fly" hopeing for a top 10 since her type of songs are doing good.
Bye Bye "How Come"

Looks like maybe the BEP could take over the #10 spot from Juvenile before the end of the week, denying "Slow Motion" a Top 10 placing... and becoming their 3rd Top 10! I'm so glad to see the gains for "LGIS" back up after it slowed down last week.

I guess LGIS is the lesser of the 2 evils.

Gavin DeGraw got more than 10 adds this week, so he will likely be brought out of recurrent land soon (ala 311). Right now he has 87 spins and would be in the low 80s (bullet is + 23, up from +12 yesterday)

Even if Linkin Park reaches the Top 20, they'll only succeed in knocking out D12.
Even if Bowling For Soup reaches the Top 20 next week, they'll only succeed in knocking out "Confessions Part II".
"Yeah!" gets 2 more weeks. Will the madness never end?

'Yeah!' is a great song. The only good song Usher has really ever done. I'm not sick of it yet. Of course, it's no 'Hey Ya!' but it's alright. A good B+ song.
BEP are awesome. I like them now after not really liking them this time last year. Congrats on their possible third top 10.

Haven't Black Eyed Peas been around for the better part of a long long time?Β I don't see how they haven't made it big till now.
Oh, and..
William Hung having his nuts owned by the jaws of a starving Pit Bull > Math > Most songs on CHR

I can't wait to hear Black Eye Pea's project that they're going to take on with The Darkness.
That will be greatness.

Yeah. It's not as good as "This Love" or "The Reason", but I'd rather have it as the top song of the year than "In Da Club" any day!

At one point Avril's bullet was seriously diminishing, but now she's gaining over 100 spins a day and back over +400. :).
