the last one sold well too and that didn't stop it. but i'm used to it...hell, i'm a Clay Aiken fan for God's sake, so i'm used to people saying my taste in music is s**t. the Fall Out Boy suck insults are nothing lol That's true I was always planning on buying this cd, but all the extra stuff is more incentive.

MTV is doing a contest. You fly with the band to see them on TRL, then fly to see them in Chicago, and then LA. Seems really cool, but unfortunately for some dumbass reason it's void in Florida :( Enter quick because it ends on Friday.

'You're Crashing, But You're No Wave" is still my favorite. They could've kept the original title though, "Law & Order". It fits better with the court room concept of the song.

Billboard.com:
ARTIST: FALL OUT BOY
ALBUM: INFINITY ON HIGH
NEW YORK (Billboard) - Forget MySpace, viral nude pics, emo and eyeliner -- Fall Out Boy has grander ambitions. With "Infinity on High," a shamelessly melodic, wild and powerful pop record, the Chicago outfit has reinvented itself as the world's biggest boy band. The set, which opens with an intro by Jay-Z, wraps catchy emo hooks around epic production employing huge harmonies, R&B grooves, samples and strings. But the real surprise is singer Patrick Stump, who explores his full vocal range and croons like a soulman. Fall Out Boy 2.0 is at its self-indulgent best on the funky "The Take Over, the Breaks Over" and the heavily orchestrated "Thnks Fr the Mmrs," one of two tracks produced by Babyface. And clever post-emo anthems like the instant Billboard Hot 100 hit "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" reveal the true heirs of the Backstreet Boys, ready to take over the world.

I got my copy from Best Buy in the mail today!!! some scans: I didn't scan everything, the lyrics for the whole album are in it. I made sure to get a physical copy b/c I got "Cork Tree" off iTunes and TTTYG off eMusic and I still can't understand some of the lyrics lol. the pre-order laminate: If anyone hasn't listened to the album yet, it's here or on AOL. I also bring tour dates!!! i'm gonna go to the West Palm Beach one, it's on a Saturday so it's perfect! The Target edition of the album is also offering a code for a ticket presale that starts tomorrow.

Did you get the "Leaked In London EP" yet?
Or do you have to wait until tomorrow?
(Does anyone want to supply me with the bonus tracks? I think our station is only getting the basic one.)

I tried to get the EP and went to the website with the CD in the player and nothing happened, so I guess it's not til tomorrow. I tried to redeem the bonus songs and it told me that promotion doesn't start until tomorrow either.

The next single is supposedly going to be one of the two tracks that Babyface produced. "I'm Like a Lawyer With the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)" is too long of a title to be a single, so I hope they ignore it because of that. I'm not really a fan of that song.

I think "Thanks for the Memories" is a better choice out of the ones Babyface did...and I spell it the regular way because when I put the CD in iTunes it spells it like that i think if they put out "....(Me & You)" they'd be pigeonholed as being an actual boy band, combined with that and the verses of "Arms Race". it does sound very BSB-ish. thanks DJ General for the link to the live EP! the tracklising for it: 1. This Ain't a Scene It's an Arms Race 2. Dance Dance 3. Thriller 4. Golden 5. Our Lawyer made us change the name of this song so we wouldn't get sued

It's a decent review but is anybody else a little taken back by them being called a boy band? and the comparison to the Backstreet Boys? A couple of MAJOR differences between them and the BSB and other boy bands. They actually write their own material and they play their own instruments.

Boy band no there not. There has been those comparison's.
But I just dont see it.
They are predicted to sell up to or over 400k so very good to them. They deserve it.

Since the boy band is dead, they are the closest thing we have to one.
