Gosh, I wish Disaster has been a bigger hit for her.

^Word. Hopefully she has another radio-friendly song ready to go, cause "Sexy to Me" just isn't gonna cut it.

Behind the Scenes footage from the "The Other Chick" video
Also been hearing across the internet that her manager said her next single will be on the same lines as her Marvin's Room cover.

... Blackground is so stupid why wasn't TOC released as the original first single as planned? *sigh* that label is a f**king mess. Since the new song is similar to her version of "Marvins Room" i'm hoping they promote it to urban & rhythmic radio. They need to promote her as an urban artist.

She needs to get into the studio right now with Noah "40" Shebib. I can already hear the magic with them 2 in the studio. Drake can fly by if he wants.

She flew to Canada a few months ago to record, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was with 40..... This is what she told a fan about the upcoming single: Hopefully they FINALLY get their shit together with this new release. I don't think I've ever seen a major label handle an artist so terribly. And I hope they get someone on the new single to generate some hype - preferably Drake or Nicki Minaj, since she has had contact with them both. Drake texted her after hearing the "Marvins Room" remix, and Nicki randomly tweeted about "The High Road" a few weeks ago: These are things her management and label should jump on.

Nicki feature please! ... Blackground is so stupid why wasn't TOC released as the original first single as planned? *sigh* that label is a f**king mess. Blackground is a mess, but not releasing "The Other Chick" was one of their smarter decisions. There is no way it would have fared better than "Disaster." It's a filler album track at best.

I need this album in my life. "The Other Chick," "Disaster," and "Sexy to Me" are all great, but I need new material!
What's weird is all three songs are so similar, yet so different. "The Other Chick" is very R&B. "Disaster" is very pop with R&B influences, and "Sexy to Me" is pretty much urban.

The Other Chick was the only thing that really had a chance because it was completely different, and even then it wouldn't have for sure been a hit. Sexy To Me sounds like Danity Kane circa 2008, and Disaster was TLTL 2.0. I hope her new sound is more along the lines of In The Dark, but with more vocals.

"Demonstrate" is the shit, but I'm not sure how it will fly at radio. CHR/Pop is totally out of the question with something like this, and she's never had an Urban hit, so....

Yeah, this isn't single-worthy, but this is the direction she needs to be going in. I really do love this!

Not a hit. I wouldn't be surprised to see her get dropped in the next year.

I like it, but I agree it's not a hit. It's a solid track. Of the four tracks she's released from Jumping Trains thus far, only "Disaster" has sounded like a hit or what could go to CHR. If she wants to release something to Urban, that's fine, but I think she should try getting another hit at CHR before branching out to other radio formats.

She considers herself an R&B singer.

YES! I've been wanting this collaboration for over a year now. And it deliver in my mind. She can snatch that female Robin Thicke spot on Urban if she wants too. This is going straight to the F#ck Jams playlist for me.

So she did work with 40 when she went to Canada. I'm glad she's being promoted as an urban artist now. This girl has never been a pop singer to me. I'm not sure how big of a hit "Demonstrate" will be at urban radio but It's definitely a step in the right direction material wise, and she has the co-sign from a lot of Urban artists.

I LOVE JoJo but I feel that song is gonna go no where fast (unless Urban loves it). Im kinda in shock. It sounds like an album track, possibly a left over or b-side (IMO). I feel its hard for even popular r&b artists to have hits with songs like that. I dont even think she has any backing on Urban radio either; Pop even has a hard time playing her now. I think she's at that point she can go in any direction cause shes almost a new artist, but they have to choose a direction and PROMOTE/PUSH her/it for it all to work. Good luck to her!
If shes just releasing stuff for the sake of artist integrity, then good for her.

This is, to me, the best offering by far. This is what she should be doing. As much as I'd love for her to get a string of pop hits she is much more comfortable in this territory.

Ummm this is an urban smash IMO. I can hear this being played all over the urban stations in my area. I would be shocked if this doesn't at least hit top 10 on the R&B charts.
So is she scrapping all of her pop songs for Jumping Trains? I hope she works with Jordan Gatsby for this project, what they've done is more in the vein of this.

She sounds like any member of a 90's/00's R&B girl group.....but not the lead vocalist of one...
