Shania will be featured on a new edition of CMT's "Insider." The "Insider" special, featuring a new interview with Shania, will air on Saturday, September 25th. Some information about it: Host Katie Cook is back from her visit with supertstar Shania Twain in beautiful Switzerland, and she'll give a sneak peek at what the star's been up to and get the scoop on her new duet "Party for Two" with country singer Billy Currington and Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.www.cmt.com/shows/dyn//cmt_insider/86131/episode_about.jhtml

OK- why are the jumps different in the "Jump" list and then in the 7-day chart? The 7-day chart has Shania gaining 700+ spins, while the Jump list has it at around 493. I believe the Taking Off list is just for new stations in the 7-day period, but the discrepancy in the country 7-day and jump charts has me baffled. ??? In any event, good to see the track picking up some country steam.

Check what u are lookin at...c1m and c1r are different panels. c1m will rank it higher in spins than c1r, c1r is the panel used by R&R

More on the other new tracks That's why we're craving the new confections, which will also include the ballad "Don't!" and "I Ain't No Quitter," a country foot stomper harking back to her twangier days. "These songs would've been the beginning of my next record," says Twain. "They're really strong, and I've got mixed feelings, because it would've been great to have that power behind [an all-new] album.
Sounds really good. I was hoping for a country stomper and a ballad, so looks like I got my wish. I hope "I Ain't No Quitter" sounds like it's from "The Woman In Me".

SHANIA TWAIN PLANS MEDIA BLITZ FOR GREATEST HITS RELEASE
Shania will launch a multi-media campaign to promote her first Greatest Hits album, including an appearance on Good Morning America from Nashville on November 5th, a feature in Reader's Digest, an appearance on the CMA Awards and, coming in the next few weeks, a brand new video of "Party For Two."
OTHER SHANIA NOTE, a song called "Don't" is featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming Robert Redford, Jennifer Lopez movie "An Unfinished Life" (out 12/24), reports MJI.
SPEAKING OF SHANIA'S VIDEO...
BILLY CURRINGTON says he spent two days shooting the clip all over London, England. Currington says he plays the love interest, "that goes around London, picking up little notes, clues at different places. They lead me eventually to a place where where I have waiting for me, a 'Party for Two,'" Billy reveals.

info. I.e., looking at the 7-day chart, and then clicking on "Jump," and there is different info. Since they'rel inked like that, I'd guess it's the same source. I never heard of c1m or c1r. lol I just check out the charts on the links I have (which have become somewhat limited as of late- anyone else notice that? Sometimes it doesn't show the format leaders, etc.)

Well, I don't know, but maybe not. Around 2000 she released a video collection, called The Platinum Collection, included all her videos released from ST, TWIM and COO.
Since than she released videos from UP! only, some of them was released in Europe only. And now the first video from the GH.
But she will release on DVD on the same day her latest special with AKUS.

How unprofessional and sellout-ish of Shania to plaster an advertisement right on the front cover. >:(

Shania's NEW "Party for Two" VIDEOS will premiere on September 27. The pop version will premiere on MuchMoreMusic Canada that night at 7pm ET, while the country version will go into rotation at CMT that day (times unknown). CMT's formal premiere should be in the last 1/2 hour of their Top 20 Countdown show Sept 30, 6-8pm ET/PT. GAC premiere tba soon... Still no confirmation for VH1. Label previously announced both country & pop versions would debut in September, but with the just announced (too late) radio add dates at other formats (Oct 8 Hot AC & Nov 9 Top 40), the USA pop version video premiere may be late too... Both CMT Canada and MuchMoreMusic Canada aired unannounced teasers tonight for their own new Shania interviews (filmed last week in Switzerland). Expect to see both channels broadcast full-length Shania interview specials closer to album release, along with CMT US, dates tba.

On the minor subject of board quirks... Anyone know what happens from time to time to the "Views" count in this and a few other threads?Β Currently shows 387 when this one was in the vicinity of a few thousand not long ago.

Wow! Thanks AnaFan. :) It looks like it's going to be a fun video. On a personal note, I think Shania looks better like this than what I've seen of her in photos from the video.

If you do not want to watch CMT to see the video, you can go to Launch.com and download the video there. Here is the address for where you can Download the "Party For Two" video. launch.yahoo.com/artist/videos.asp?artistID=1027718Just a note: That same country video for "Party For Two" is scheduled to begin airing on GAC sometime this week. A brief news article on Countrystars.com mentioned the premiere on GAC but No date or time was given for its premiere.
