This brings up an idea. Why shouldn't others trust us for music news? We seem to have pretty up-to-date information. Maybe we could start a separate page (it couldn't really go on this board though) with the latest happenings. "Pulse Music News" or something. Am I going crazy or is there like a question mark after every period on this board? You must be going crazy.

Speaking of The Game, there are rumors flying about him being a homosexual. I didnt pay any mind to them until I listened to his album and he gave Mary J. Blige a mention on like every other song, then he sampled her and collaborated with her. He clearly has an over the top homosexual obsession with her.

hey wendy! oooohhhh how you doin? lmao. ======== In other news: The Fresh Prince calls the Queen of Hip Hop Soul for AssistanceWill Smith is "leaking" his new single to radio in the States this week. The song is titled "Switch," and it's off his forthcoming album "Lost and Found", which should be released the first week of April. Why leak it? Smith says, "You got to hit them when they don't know what's comin'". We caught up with him in Hawaii, where he was promoting his new film "Hitch", which also stars Eva Mendes and Kevin James. He told us that this album is "a real departure for him," and it features tracks with Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige. In other Smith news… he and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, grace the cover of the February issue of Essence magazine. Inside the couple talk about how they keep the fire in their relationship. This album is also gonna have production from Timbaland and Lil Jon. :( Will just can't stay away from the mic.

With Lil John and Timbaland, eventhough he may be washed up in music right now, he could possibly do it again.... :o

Mary takes part in yet another one of these charity tunes.
She will be featured on a remake of "Tears From Heaven" with Eric Clapton, Elton John, Steven Tyler, Pink, Gwen Stefani and others.
The proceeds from this song will be going towards the Save the Children Foundation.

Mary's critically acclaimed DVD from her highly praised tour to promote her hit album, "Love and Life" has gone gold! This DVD features Mary's classic rendition of Philip Bailey's "Children of the Ghetto" and allows fans to travel on a journey throughout the career of Mary as she delivers hit after hit in a soulful glory. This is another classic release for Mary J. Blige. Also in stores is Mary's latest album, the number 1 platinum smash, "Love and Life." This album features the top 10 hit "Love @ 1st Sight" with Method Man, as well as the R&B hit "Ooh!" Mary will be featured on Jamie Foxx's upcoming J Records release. They did a remake of "Love Changes." They performed it at Clive's partay.
I love this song. I hope the studio version is hot and clean!

Singer perhaps found inspiration in upcoming duet with Jamie Foxx.
by Abbey Goodman
With a brace of new songs and a burgeoning acting career, Mary J. Blige has a busy year lined up, but you'd never know it from speaking to her.
"I'm recording my album right now in L.A.," Mary said, "I'm happy."
That's all.
Apparently she meant happy to politely decline to offer any further details about it. But MTV News has learned that Mary's already recorded 27 songs for the album, which is expected out this August, with such producers as Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, Rodney Jerkins, Swizz Beatz, Raphael Saadiq, Robin Thicke, and Jam & Lewis. And that's just a partial list.
Even when she's not working on her own material, Mary's been spending a lot of her free time in the recording booth, making a remix of Cassidy's "I'm a Hustla" and duetting with Will Smith and Jamie Foxx for their upcoming albums. Her track with Smith is called "Why," and she and Foxx remade the '80s song "Love Changes" by Kashif.
That time with Jamie Foxx must have really been inspiring. Though she's been considering some acting roles for a while, now that Foxx nabbed the Academy Award, Mary J.'s got visions of shiny gold men dancing in her head too.
"I'm looking at scripts right now," she said. "One main script that I'm a little nervous about. I just gotta get more passionate about this acting thing. I love music, so I'm passionate about that. If I can get as passionate about acting as I am about music, then maybe I'll win an Oscar."

Apparently Mary and Cassidy are shooting, or have already shot the remix video to Cassidy's new single, "I'm a Hustla." At the end of his video, they give a little teaser by having a car drive up, and on the license plate it says "Mary J. Blige" and they end the video with a TO BE CONTINUED. So I guess he plans on having his second hit single be with the Queen! Whoo.

If the Cassidy song becomes a hit it would be good for Mary and can help with buzz or her next single. BTW: I just had a thought, i would like for Mary to work with DarkChild. That would be HOT!

Well I hope the song with Cassidy flops. He's very annoying, and I'd rather her not aid in giving him any success. But I hope the song is good. And she's worked with Rodney before. And she did something with him for her upcoming album. I hope it isn't his stupid "Lose My Breath" work.

I haven't heard the remix of I'm a Hustla but I'm dying to...I think I might have caught it on a mixshow a few days ago but dont know if that was it...
First she "re-mixed" In Da Club before her last album, now she's doing another rap remix, although for not nearly as big a hit, before her next album.....hmm
