Go! is the upcoming album by singer Mario, now set for release in Spring, 2007. It features the 1st single "Crying Out For Me", which was released in late 2006.
The second single, "Go!" has already been released. It is produced by The Neptunes.

Did "Crying Out For Me" flop? I've never heard that song on the radio.

I am pretty sure. I've never heard it either. That is why they are releasing the new single. I have it, but haven't got to listen to it yet.

I don't like this new title. He should have left it "Effortless".

It's on his MySpace:
myspace.com/mariojrecords
Honestly, all three of the tracks are good. I want "Crying Out For Me" first though. "Go" and "How Do I Breathe" are hot too.

And I'm the only one that's getting a creepy stalker/sociopath/serial killer type of vibe from that cover?

I agree, that's a horrible cover.

I think the cover is dope, but not for him. It needs far better clothes, something with color, because he is looking like a bum in brown here.

I actually love the cover and think it's a big improvement from his 2nd album. So far I don't really like Go! the song but How Do I breathe and Crying Out For Me are hot!

Yea, I like How Do I Breathe and Crying Out for Me. Go is aight. I do hope that this CD will be a quality improvement over his sophomore release because besides the 2 singles, Let Me Love you and How Could you and a couple of other songs, it was a disappointment to the max.

I liked the remixes that came out of his last CD like How Could You (Scott Storch Remix) Boom (Remix) and Let Me Love You (Scott Storch Remix).

NYC Sweet and sexy R&B crooner, Mario, visits MTV's "Sucker Free" to promote his new movie, Freedom Writers, in theaters now. Later, he stopped by Teenpeople.com to chat about the movie, and his upcoming album, GO!, due out this spring.

Mario: Back In The Spotlight The sexy singer tells TeenPeople.com why Freedom Writers is the "movie of a lifetime" -- and fills us in on his upcoming album Go!
By Cortney M. Wills Jan 12, 2007 10:00AM EST
By now, we all know that 19-year-old Mario can sing -- he stole hearts when his 2005 smash hit "Let Me Love You" ruled radios everywhere. But this teen dream has grown into a force to be reckoned with -- on the R&B charts and on the silver screen.
He stars alongside heavy-hitters Hilary Swank and Patrick Dempsey in Freedom Writers -- a true story about a teacher who gives a class full of discouraged, fed-up students strength and power through writing, helping them to overcome their differences and find refuge from their difficult lives through the support of their classmates. "When I first read the script, I couldn't put it down," says Mario, who plays Andre, an emotionally absent student who grows up fast, dealing with his mom's drug addiction." This was the movie of a lifetime. My character and I had really similar experiences. The emotions you see on screen were real."
Mario’s life wasn’t always full of awards shows and music videos -- he faced much harder times in his early years. "Growing up without a father, and with a mother who was addicted to drugs, I can definitely relate to my character there," Mario confesses. " I grew up in a house with sixteen people in it, with a mother who used to be addicted to drugs. At one point in my life I used to dip and dab into the selling drugs situation. I’m happy I got the opportunity to finally say those things and be able to talk about them and release those things without actually doing it. It was very therapeutic."
While the role was a cathartic experience for Mario, he also got a chance to prove himself as an actor. "Your talent has to speak for itself with acting," he says. "In music you can get away with a lot, but acting is raw."
Still, "It was real cool on set. That was my first time being around young adults my age," says Mario, who's been tutored since his sophomore year, when his music career took off. "It was dope. I felt like I was back in school. We'd go out and eat, hang out, talk and really get to know each other and become comfortable with each other in order to build that chemistry you see in the movie."
Of course, starring opposite two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank may have added to the pressure just a bit. "I wasn’t nervous, but I questioned myself," says Mario. "I wondered if I could stand up to her skills. The important thing that I learned from working with Hilary was finding your space. Like in between shots, how do you stay in the moment?"
One way the kids kept focused on their characters was by writing. "The Freedom Writers had journals and we had them too," says Mario. "We kept our own journals on the set. I still have mine to this day and I wrote in it all the time. Occasionally I still write in it."
But the singer's also been pouring his angst into song -- three of which will end up on his new album, Go!, due in April. And Mario tells us his fifth third disc will be grown-up and sexy. "I’m single right now. I get to move how I want to move without the headache and without phone calls at 3am like...'Where you at?'" says Mario. "But I've always been a lover. People are gonna have to get used to that." No complaints here!
Considering his collaborations with powerhouse producers like Pharell, rock-solid songwriters like Ne-Yo, and musical mainstays like Nelly and Akon on Go!, Mario is confident that his effort will take R&B to a new level. "There’s one song, 'Crying Out For Me,' that really defines where I am musically," he says. "It shows where I think R&B needs to be right now."
Strong words for a young singer, but Mario's confident. Acting-wise, he's got some big ambition -- and he's not afraid to put himself out there. "Will Smith actually told me, 'I still have to audition for some parts.' I was like…'What?! You’re Will Smith!'" he says, laughing. "For me, Will Smith is the blueprint for an acting career. So I don’t feel like I shouldn’t have to read for parts just because I already have a name for myself."
So what blockbusters top this cutie's list? "Pursuit of Happyness is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen," he says. "Will deserves the Oscar buzz. But also Lord of The Rings -- I'm a closet geek! -- Harlem Nights, and Wedding Crashers. I've seen it almost 20 times, and it gets better every time."

Hmmm. So now Mario wants to pull a "Keyshia Cole" with his backstory? Ooooook then.
And GO! is only his 3rd album, not his fifth.

I love How Do I Breathe. That should've been the first single. Crying Out For Me is like the male version of Ciara's Promise.

I like both of them. "Crying Out For Me" is better IMO, "How Do I Breathe" kind of sounds like he's trying to re-create the success of "Let Me Love You".

Crying Out For Me is like the male version of Ciara's Promise. Yeah thats how it sounds. I like it though. I think "Go" is a hott song. And I downloaded "How Do I Breathe" an ill minute ago... it leaked like last summer. I'm liking all three songs, but a song needa hit the radio soon if he wants to go platinum again.

"I've been in the studio recording my new album 'Go' with Will.I.Am, Pharrell and some of my other favourite producers, I'm also going to be doing a duet with Alicia Keys. "This is a new, sexier, harder more mature Mario. Usher and Ne-Yo watch out: I'm going to smash the charts!" www.mtv.co.uk/channel/mtvuk/news/02032007/exclusive_mario_interview
