Even though they just released Thats Right video, her new album is scheduled to be released Spring of next year. Whether she just experienced the "sophmore jinx" or just plain bad single choices, I hope she goes back to Goodies type music, and workds with Timbaland on her next record. Just imagine the kind of dance records they can do together.

I preferred The Evolution to Goodies, but I do hope that she works with Timbaland for some hot dance records. I preferred the slower cuts on The Evolution, so I hope that this time she keeps that sound and balance it with the faster songs.

Her and Jazze are gonna hook up again for her 3rd album. That's a really smart move because she needs to expand on the formula they had with Goodies if she wants to regain her footing in the industry.

I also prefer The Evolution to Goodies (though both are great), hopefully this new album is another progression and not a step backwards. I don't mind her working with Jazze Pha, but hopefully Polow is on there as well as producers she hasn't worked with yet...

The Evolution was thousand time better than Goodies but anyway I think it was all bad single choices imo.

Evolution was a good CD. It was just bad singles. She released 3 slow songs in a row. The singles should have been Promise, That's Right, Like A Boy, My Love
Can't wait for the new CD.

"That's Right" is so awful, I do not understand the love for it. It's so poorly recorded, it should KNOCK but it just falls flat. I skipt it everytime.. Singles should've been:
Promise Bang It Up Like A Boy My Love C.R.U.S.H.

Singles should've been: Promise Bang It Up Like A Boy My Love C.R.U.S.H. I think that "That's Right" is loved so much because of its similar sound to "Goodies". I also agree with the single choices, possibly switching out "Bang It Up" for "That's Right" and placing "Bang It Up" in place of "C.R.U.S.H."

Alot of labels have made mistakes within the past few years, in releasing CD singles. Sony did with B-Day, Def Jam did with GGGB, and Jive did with CB by trying to use the Run It! formula. Its a shame that single choices have so much impact on sells, but it does.

However, I don't agree that Promise would have been the wisest choice to open the album. She needed a POP hit first(C.R.U.S.H./CLEA even) and then follow with the urban-flavored Promise so that it would score better on that format. Had they followed that strategy the latter track's chart positioning would have been higher and ditto for the next single. I personally would have saved Get Up as a true lead just as Check On It(with Upgrade U next) should have been the first single choices for B'Day.

Ciara has already to collaborate with Alicia Keys 24.12.07 10:44 (makeushot.com ) - R+b star Ciara has already made a New Year’s resolution - to collaborate with Alicia Keys. The Goodies singer is so desperate to team up with Keys on a track, she has made it a priority mission for 2008. She says, “I’ve always thought she was very beautiful and very talented but I’m starting to have a different respect for her and her music.” It will be great, after team up with Rihanna, now she find great Keys to boost her career. news.trendaz.com/index.shtml?show=news&newsid=1099687&lang=ENI REALLY don't know about this...

I heard that a few days ago, and I'm glad it was left off. It was soooo boring.

I really hope she doesn't work with Timbaland. He's already getting hella old and with Madonna & Beyonce working on projects with him that'll be released next year he might just wind up weighing a sista down.
