The Mountain High Tour is straight fire. Lanco were okay, but Brothers Osborne were FANTASTIC and Dierks is at the top of his game, damn. Going to see them next month in Austin...can’t wait! I’ve seen Brothers Osborne twice and they never disappoint.

Saw Sugarland for the first time tonight and omg they were so good. They're such natural entertainers and Jennifer in particular can blow the roof off the place with that voice of hers. Incredible show. So much fun.

Saw Maren Morris last night and she sounded great! Niall Horan, one of One Direction fame, was the headliner and he also sounded fabulous.

Saw Jason Aldeans' High Noon Neon tour last night. Aldean put on a good show with a 24 song marathon. It was all singles, with the exception of "Gettin Warmed Up" and "Rearview Town" off the latest album.
I was really impressed by Luke Combs. The crowd was singing every song, even his album tracks. I figured he would get a good crowd response, but I was blown away. He seems like a superstar in the making.

Saw Sugarland, Frankie Ballard, and Lindsay Ell on Saturday night and what a show it was. I will say that I will do everything I can to see both Sugarland and Frankie Ballard every time they come near because both were amazing!
Lindsay Ell opened the show with "Wildfire", which I enjoyed. She then sang another song that I believe was "Mint" and then "Champagne" (I could be switching the two). I didn't care for either song to be honest, though she sounded great and her guitar playing was great. She then ended her set with "Criminal", which was awesome. I did end the night getting her autograph and a photo with her.
Then Frankie Ballard came out and what a performer. Love his voice and he killed it on guitar. He started his set with "Young and Crazy", then "Little Bit of Both", and "It All Started With A Beer". Then he sang a new song that he wrote with Kristian Bush that I think could be titled "Try Harder" or "Better Man" or something along those lines. It was a great song and I cannot wait for a studio recording because I want it lol. He then sang "Helluva Life", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", and "Sunshine and Whiskey". He ended his set with a Tom Jones cover, "Delilah", which was amazing.
When Sugarland came out they opened with "Bigger", which I hadn't heard yet (haven't listened to their new album yet). I loved it though and have been listening to it ever since, same with every other song from the album they performed. They then sang "All I Want To Do", "Stuck Like Glue", "Want To", "Already Gone", and "Lean It On Back" before doing an inspiration duo of "Little Miss" and the Patty Griffin song "Tony". That cover killed me personally as I have a cousin who committed suicide who happened to be named Tony so that kinda took me out of the show for a little bit and I didn't really enjoy the next like 7 songs. Not to say that the rest of the show was forgettable because it wasn't. Jennifer Nettles was amazing, as was Kristian Bush.
After those two songs they each sang a solo song. Kristian sang "Trailer Hitch" and Jennifer sang "Unlove You". They then sang "Incredible Machine", "Let Me Remind You", and "Settlin'" before doing a medley of "On A Roll", "We Want The Funk", "Billie Jean", and "Express Yourself".
After that they sang "Tuesday's Broken", which they said was the first time they had ever performed it live, and it was phenomenal. After that they sang "Babe" and "It Happens". I think "It Happens" was when I finally started to shake off that cover. They then did an incredible trio of performances of "Stay", "Baby Girl", and "Something More". That is where they ended their regular set and left the stage.
For the encore they did "Not The Only" and covered Prince's song "Let's Go Crazy". For the Prince cover both Lindsay Ell and Frankie Ballard joined them and it was an amazing way to end the night.
Overall loved the show, even that cover that affected me as negatively as it did. Need to see them again, highly recommend them to anyone who has never seen them!

I saw Farewell Angelina tonight in Rocky Mount, NC. The gig was at a college, that has a theater/concert hall set up, and I think most of the audience had season tickets of some sort as most of the audience was age 50+.
That being said.....I think they enjoyed it. There was a mix of conversation back and forth with the audience, and with Ashley Gearing in the fold now, she blended in really well with the other ladies. There were some good mash ups, and some new music that should appear on the CD sometime next year.
This group (an independent) puts on more gigs than anyone I have seen that isn't a big name. Some big names don't even do as many gigs as they do. They have gigs out to May scheduled, all over the US. They play off each other really well, making jokes, and explaining how songs are thought out and written.

I saw Jason Boland & The Stragglers last night in DC. It was a great show. Cody Canada & The Departed were the opening act. They were awesome, he played a lot of Ragweed songs. I was slightly disappointed Jason Boland didnt have a steel player with him (even though his Facebook Live post 5 days ago he had one). He didnt talk much about it, but did say there were a few songs he COULDNT do because of that. His songs have such a prominent steel guitar sound that I admit, some of the songs didnt sound as good. Regardless, he is great. The set list is below
Down In A Hole Dark & Dirty Mile I Don't Deserve You Comal County Blue Electric Bill I Guess It's Alright To Be An Asshole Truckstop Diaries When I'm Stoned Lucky I Guess Pearl Snaps Gallo Del Cielo Blowing Through The Hills Fuck, Fight and Rodeo Somewhere Down In Texas
Also, not sure why, but he came onto the stage very abruptly, no introduction, walked from behind the curtain strapped on guitar and hit the mic. And when it was over, he very quickly de-strapped from his guitar and jogged off stage. Not sure if he is a very anxious and high strung guy, but he seemed to be rushing through every song. He WAS very nice to the crowd, but almost seemed like he really wanted to get back on the bus and get outta DC ! LOL.
Oh well, next up is Cody Jinks in Baltimore on Dec. 7! Cant wait

Just got home from K102 Fan Jam. 6 artists all acoustic.
Carlton Anderson - "Drop Everything" was the only song I knew but he's got a good voice. Travis Denning - Did a cover of "Kerosene" and of course "David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs" in his set. Tyler Rich - Fantastic singer. "11:11" did nothing for before hearing it live. I realized he could have written it about me. Riley Green - Has the most traditional voice of all the artists and was very good. Jimmie Allen - Covered "Gone" from Montgomery Gentry and "I'm In A Hurry" from Alabama and "Daddy's Money" from Ricochet. Mitchell Tenpenny - Covered Granger Smith's "If The Boot Fits" since he wrote it, and did a Snow Patrol song I've never heard of and was not impressed at all by it. But after "Alcohol You Later" and "Drunk Me" he did the one song I really didn't think he'd do since it's been controversial, "Bitches". Not really sure what to think of it, since this was my first time hearing it although i knew about it.

Sorry for the back to back posts but no one has posted here for over a week.
Saw Easton Corbin tonight. Opened with a song called "Gotta Be Country". It's not on any of his albums so it could be a new song he's recorded as he said later he's been in the studio recording. He did a new one he's already recorded called "Raising Humans". Otherwise he did all his hits, a medley of George Strait songs (which reaffirms my original thought that he was a modern Strait when he first debuted), medley of "T-r-o-u-b-l-e", "Traveling Band", and Ain't Goin' Down (Til The Sun Comes Up)". He also did "Swinging Doors" and "Hey Good Lookin'". What I did not expect was a cover of Alan Jackson's "Good Time". Sitting front of the stage paid off as he acknowledged my AJ shirt and pointed at me, although not on the mic.

Saw Brothers Osborne for the fourth time on Friday night, but first time as a headliner. Man, they get better every time I see them. Their concerts are full of energy and great music. They played for an hour and 45 minutes. Their opener was Charlie Worsham whom was also fantastic. Worsham did 40 minutes acoustic as the opening act and it was fantastic. Worsham should be a freaking star in the genre. All in all, an absolutely fantastic show.

As for Brothers Osborne they really are a great live act that puts on a hell of a show every time. I’ve seen them live on three different occasions including an acoustic set for a local radio station while the second was at a music festival and just most recently saw them open for Dierks here in Austin. I also had the chance to see Charlie Worsham open for Brandy Clark last year and he’s a great talent...even better yet he’s a super nice guy. My friend and I hung out after the show for a bit and Charlie just happened to pull up a seat next to us at the bar...we chatted for a good while and got to take a shot of ruby red vodka with him

I'm down to 2-3/year now that he's only doing arenas and amps. And yes Dierks toured with him twice. Saw 'em both. LOL.

For Martina, I would guess somewhere around 5-7 times? Those are the only two I've seen more than three times.

Seeing Russell Dickerson tonight.
EDIT: By far, one of the most energetic shows I have seen in any genre in years. Travis Denning opened for him, which I don't think was planned. I don't think the show was sold out, but for those that were there, they got their money's worth. He pretty much played the entire album, did a medley of covers, and make a joke about playing in front of 12 people way back when, and doing the same show then as now.

Saw Charley Pride last night and it was delightful. His voice might not quite have the same power it had in his prime but he can still hit all the notes, especially the low ones. He's also hilarious. I'd recommend seeing him!
