Just got home from Shania Twain. One of the worst shows I've ever seen, albeit nothing to do with her singing. There was something wrong with the sound, as it sounded like the speakers were blocked by something. The sound was severely muffled. I could not hear almost everything she said between songs. She did mostly pop versions of her songs. Did not do No One Needs To Know but did Don't and other lower charting songs and her last song was Rock This Country. When setting up Party For Two she was saying she had a surprise superstar so i though it was going to be Billy Currington or Mark McGrath. It was her opener, Bastion Baker, who absolutely sucked during his set and was worse for this song.
There was one point early in her show where the sound was exactly what it should be. It was when one of the video screen boxes was raised and moved over. That lasted 30 seconds and it went back to crap. I've never heard worse sound at a show. Not even when i saw the George Strait festival at the Metrodome. That was acoustic issues. i have seen many shows at Xcel Energy Center and not once has sound been an issue like it was tonight.
I feel ripped off.

That was the first one for me too. Someone from the X contacted me via email and passed the blame on to the sound company for Shania.

Just bought tickets for Tim & Faith. I could have sworn they were more expensive, I ended up paying less than $70 and still got a free CD. Yay!

Going to see Cody Jinks and Colter Wall tonight at an amphitheater south of Austin. The sky is looking pretty omnious so hopefully it clears up when the show starts!

I know I know I go to a lot of shows...going to see Langhorne Slim tonight (any fans on here???) at a small venue in downtown Austin. I've seen him once before as an opener so excited to see him headlining tonight.

Not upcoming concerts, but I saw American Aquarium and Rayland Baxter in the past month and they were both fantastic. I definitely recommend both of them.

Seeing Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Jon Pardi and Morgan Wallen at Target Field in Minneapolis on Saturday. Out of this lineup I have only seen Pardi once (and that was a four-song acoustic thing for KMNB with five other artists) so I'm quite excited to see some country folks I haven't seen live (or full-fledged live) yet.

Saw Shania on Saturday in Nashville. I've seen her three times in the last five years now, and that's the best she's sounded since 2004. I've seen the "NOW Tour" twice, and the crowd in Nashville just blew me away. The only crowd that I think was more intense was Taylor's "1989 Tour." I'm hopeful that Shania will be invigorated and continue to record music. I really feared that she would call it quits after this album was met with a lukewarm reception, but the crowd response seems to indicate that fans are responding well to the new songs. I'm sure the fans in Europe, South America, and Australia can't wait to see her. It's been a loooong time since she's toured there.

Saw Brooks & Dunn Friday night. They still have it. Only downside was for the price ($103) they only played a little over an hour with no opening act.

I just got home from my first of two Reba concerts this weekend. This might be my favourite one of hers yet! Every time I see her, she puts on a different show than the time before. I really like how she included two medley segments this time around. There are still so many songs of hers that I wish she had done that she wasn't able to fit in, but that's going to happen with someone with an extensive discography as hers. At least with the medleys, we got parts of songs that otherwise wouldn't have been able to be included ("And Still", "The Fear Of Being Alone", "Little Rock", "One Promise Too Late", "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter", etc.). It's hard to believe that she's 63 - she put on a more energetic show than a lot of people I have seen half her age. I can't wait to see her again Saturday night!

She was just as good on the second night. Reba is such an amazing entertainer. I hope she comes back next year!

Michael Ray next Thursday! ❤️
Also bought tickets to Old Dominion this morning for December because Michael Ray is opening for them. Warner is doing VIP upgrades for Michael and I snatched that up real quick!! A meet and greet and photo with Michael, and an acoustic performance!!!!! I can’t wait!!!! I haven’t met Michael yet and I am so excited, because he is one of my favorites. His voice is incredible so I am super stoked for the acoustic performance.

Michael Ray next Thursday! ❤️ Just got back from seeing him! He was PHENOMENAL, as usual! I know a lot of posters on here don't care for him but man, I can't sing his praises enough. He sounds fantastic live (the dude can SING) and he is a true entertainer. His shows are a blast! AND... I got to meet him! I'll post my M&G pic in PYP as soon as it's uploaded to his site. He's such a nice guy and so genuine! You can tell he has a true appreciation for country and a passion for music. Seriously one of the nicest and most humble artists I have ever met. As if I didn't love him enough! He's definitely my favorite country artist currently, and hands down my favorite of all the male artists out there. He's keeping it real and I made sure to let him know how much I appreciate that. Can't wait to meet him and see him live again in December!

Heading down to see Zac Brown Band in a few minutes. One Republic also playing so I might get bored early.

Zac Brown was awesome as always. One Republic is the worst band I've ever heard.

The Mountain High Tour is straight fire. Lanco were okay, but Brothers Osborne were FANTASTIC and Dierks is at the top of his game, damn.
