I have several upcoming concerts, but only one's country. I grabbed front row for Martina McBride this June! Good choice. Where is she playing?

I've got tickets to see Martina in June, too. I've seen her a few times before, should be a good concert!

You can now add Trisha Yearwood to my list. Beyond excited. She is amazing live. If you've never seen her before, be prepared for a great concert. She's probably in my top 3 or 4 that I've ever seen live. She sounds just like her albums, and she is extremely personable and funny.

I have seen many amazing vocalists - Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Natalie Maines, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson - which means she does have some tough competition, but I bet she'll easily match them, if not exceed some of them. What I have seen from the few video clips that have emerged has been impressive.

I've seen all but Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, though I'd like to see both at some point. I'm really looking forward to the 'Just Because' tour because I think this sounds like the most engaged she's ever been in touring. And, she's only doing what she wants to do.

Corey Smith show last night was great as usual. Glad to see him mix up the setlist a little. He is in the studio with Keith Steagall so maybe his next album will be a little more commercially accepted.
Next up Nickel Creek in Birmingham then Nashville!

I have pit seats for Hunter Hayes at the Allentown Fair! Second time seeing him so it should be fun with his new music coming out. Also the fact that I have never had pit seats or had the opportunity to be front row at a concert before makes me even more excited.
This is not a country concert, but I saw Casting Crowns, Laura Story, and 4 King and Country in March at the Prudential Center and what an amazing experience! If they are in your area go see them, definitely worth it!

She sounds absolutely fantastic, you were not joking - and I know you said she was funny, but I laughed more than I ever expected to. I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the show. I thought the crowd was super, super quiet though - hopefully she was still having as much fun as I was! ETA: How perfect was her "Midnight Train To Georgia" cover? You can now add Trisha Yearwood to my list. Beyond excited. You never answered my question. Where is Martina McBride playing? Thanks! Oops, sorry. Rama.

She did such a great job. She was relaxed, super personable and hilarious. Oh, and she sounded better than ever. Great, great concert. I agree that the crowd was super quiet - that's Rama though. The average age of the crowd at a Rama concert seems to be about 85 I loved her setlist, too. It was great hearing "Little Hercules" live. I'm so surprised that she sang it, but it was a very welcome addition to the setlist. I also thought that she nailed the Linda Ronstandt stuff. I would be really interested in a covers album from Trisha (even just a complete Linda Ronstandt tribute CD), because I think that she has a really eclectic (and good!) taste in music.

The one song I would have loved to hear was "This Is Me You're Talking To," but I knew that was unlikely. Nonetheless, what an outstanding performance yesterday! I would enjoy an album of covers, because she does seem to have such extensive knowledge and great taste - and she can sing and nail anything.

Nickel Creek is amazing. Saw them Wednesday night in Birmingham then Saturday night at the Ryman in Nashville. The Ryman show was a little different thank goodness (they did Out of the Woods in Bham then traded it out with Jealous of the Moon in Nashville and changed the order a little)
Not sure that I have ever heard a better live show. These guys are spot on in every way. Musicianship, harmonies.....A+ shows in every way.

I'm seeing Scotty McCreery on May 31 in Selma, NC outside of Raleigh at a new outdoor venue called "The Farm." Its a bring your own blankets and lawn chairs kinda place and they expect a minimum of 10,000 there. Eric Paslay is Scotty's opening act. Scotty has a Fan Club event of 450 (that was the sell out cut off) earlier in the day. It's gonna be a fun day.
Later in the Summer Scotty is playing the 13,000 seat Carowinds Palladium in Charlotte, NC. Of course I'm going there too.
For those who are interested in seeing how Scotty opens his headline shows, this is the best video I've seen. This was last night at the University of Utah Arena, about 12,000.

I got tickets to see Reba in September today. I've lost track of how many times I've seen her now (6? 7? 8?), but she always puts on such a great show.

I've got tickets to see Martina in June, too. I've seen her a few times before, should be a good concert! Martina was awesome last night! She was heavy on the new album, but she did such a great job of the songs. I also loved how she brought in a brass band and rearranged some of her classic songs to fit the new instrumentation. I think this was my fourth (or possibly fifth) time seeing her, so it was nice to have a different type of concert. And, as usual, she sounded amazing. I can't believe she's close to 50 - she still sounds like she did 20 years ago.

I knew the show was mostly covers but, like you said, she was so damn good that that did not matter. I have only seen her two times before, and I felt this show was the best one yet. She sounded amazing, she looks great, and the show was absolutely fantastic - brilliantly "produced" and executed. I was one of those folks, again, who stood in front of the stage and she even held my hand at the end! I was also able to get one of the setlists when the show was over. I took some photos and videos - and she even publicly tweeted one of my videos! (You can also see "Come See About Me" and "Whatever You Say / Where Would You Be" on my page.)

Saw Florida Georgia Line's show last night.
Clare Dunn - Didn't see all of her set because I got there late but she's a fine singer.
Chris Lane - I could see this guy becoming a name in country music. He put on a really good show and sang some catchy songs off of his new record. The weird thing is that the lead single is the worst of them.
Nelly - He had the entire stadium bouncing. Dude is definitely a great live entertainer.
Florida Georgia Line - They're about what you'd expect. Overproduced and lots of flashy lights. Unfortunately they didn't play anything from their upcoming album. One weird thing is that they brought out Sarah Buxton for one song and that's it lol
