Subject: Michael Jackson with Akon "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008 [Johnny Vicious Mixes]
These set of mixes are not bad at all, however... Akon ruins it! Johnny should've remixed the original version of "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ". Oh well...
Michael Jackson with Akon "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008" [Epic Records / Legacy Recordings US] Promo CD Maxi Single 1. Johnny Vicious Radio Mix 2. Johnny Vicious Club Remix 3. Johnny Vicious Warehouse Thrilla Dub 4. Radio Edit

The instrumental on these is pretty good, but I'm just not feeling it. I would have liked a retro-ish production. Johnny knows how to do those. I wish he would do one of those every now and then. Those fierce cutups he did of the Salsoul records back in the 90's were just WOW!! And Akon completely destroys it.

For fans of the MJ HIStory era remixes, this is a nice treat.
Mind you, Akon is still predominantly featured on the track (since it's really his song ), however, it's always nice to hear MJ's ad libs thrown against a fierce house beat now and then.
