In 2004, 'Over & Over' began a trend where every year, a new song would come along to CHR/POP, and BREAK the record for the most played song on the format in a single week. 'Hollaback Girl' topped it, 'Hips Don't Lie' topped HG, 'Big Girls Don't Cry' topped HDL, and now 'Apologize' is the current holder of this record which seems to get broken every year.

Which one of these songs was the LEAST annoying?

I think my favorite out of all these is 'Hollaback Girl' by Gwen Stefani, then Shakira 'Hips Don't Lie'. The most annoying one is 'Over & Over' because it's so ironic...the more they played it over & over, the more it was all in my head (direct lyrics from the song), it was like the weirdest thing ever. Over and over again...boy did they play that OVER AND OVER AND OVER!

I went with Fergie, as I never got sick of her song. Actually, come to think of it, I didn't really get sick of "Over and Over" or "Hollaback Girl", but neither of those got #1 on my chart.

"Hips Don't Lie" I was sick of for a while, but I like it again. "Apologize" has the disadvantage for me right now as I'm still a little burnt on it.
