I really liked the album. My favorite song is We Call Upon The Author.

Wow I never knew the album was out already! Amazing song though, I love the quirky biblical references. Wish I could download it already.

I'm buying it ASAP, along with Kylie, Muse's DVD, Foals, and few other releases. So much quality music has suddenly come out in the past month or so.

OMG, the AV club's attention to these lyrics just made my day:
Lyrically, Cave's dick is still hanging out of his pants: His lascivious self-caricature from Grinderman resurfaces in Dig's closer, "More News From Nowhere," a "Sister Ray"-like odyssey into hallucinatory sex, boasting lines like "I called her my Nubian princess, gave her some sweetback, badass jive / I spent the next seven years between her legs, pining for my wife."
That's totally my new quote.

The album debuts at #64 on the BB 200 with about 10k sold, career best! It's really a great and, well, entertaining listen. The Boatman's Call: #155 (1997) No More Shall We Part: #180 (2001) Nocturama: #182 (2003) Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus: #126 (2004)
