Shania's Come on Over. By such a huge margin it just isn't even funny. Love me some Carrie, but there's absolutely no contest on this one.

Well, I think Come On Over pretty much blows every female country record ever done away. I wanted to have alittle bit of a challenge considering votes. Since Carrie is the biggest country artist on this board I thought it would make this at least a decent competition. I was wrong. lol

I am truly astounded by the results.
I haven't heard Carrie's album and don't intend to, so my vote really isn't fair, but oh well. I seriously thought that it would be a close race.
I'm very pleased to see there's still love for Shania out there. And I agree with everyone else, "Come On Over" is a timeless classic - the album that made Shania the highly well known artist that she is.

A comparison with "Some Hearts" would be fairer, I think. Anyhow, Shania by far.

Come On Over by more than an infinite amount of miles. There is no contest whatsoever - Shania's is my favourite country album ever.

Come On Over is Shania's greatest album and the one that made such an indelible mark on the music industry. We have yet to see the effects, if any, of Carnival Ride. This is like comparing an established, internationally successful businessman to an up-and-coming apprentice. There is NO comparison. *can anyone else tell I just got off an "Apprentice" marathon?* ;) I would have to agree that "Some Hearts" would be a better album to compare, as it has been out much longer and has also shaped our music industry.

Yeah I agree. As much as I love her albums, I dont think Carrie has had an album yet that is as classic as "UP!" and "Come On Over".
However, Im sure that eventually in her career she will.

I hope so! She is great. I don't think "Up!" is as good as "Come On Over" - Carrie's aren't too far from the former, imo. She's released strong albums.
