An update on the album from Kellie's chat yesterday! Kellie finally finished recording. She said there will only be 10 songs on the album. There was talk that they might add another song but that didn't happen. (UPDATED: There will be 11 songs. They added one of the bonus tracks ("Going Out In Style") to the album last minute. She also revealed the title of the final bonus track. It will be a cover of the classic song "Let It Be Me". It's been recorded by several people including the Everly Brothers and Elvis. You can listen to the Everly Brothers' version HERE. She said she just heard her version the other day and loves it. She thinks it should've made the album but it did not. It will be an iTunes bonus track along with 2 other songs. They just chose the album cover and are almost done picking out everything that goes inside the album booklet. She said the lyrics WILL be included this time. So, here's an updated track listing. Every song's been confirmed by Kellie in her chats. The only thing we don't know now is the order. - Don't You Know You're Beautiful
- Best Days of Your Life
- One Last Time
- Rocks Instead of Rice
- Making Me Fall In Love Again
- Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You
- Lucky Girl
- Anything But Me
- I'm Your Woman
- Somebody to Love Me
- Going Out In Style
(iTunes exclusives) - Don't Close Your Eyes (Keith Whitley cover)
- Let It Be Me (Everly Brothers cover)

well i am disappointed that there is only 10 songs on the album. but its really 13 songs so its not much to complain about. i just hope "Rocks Instead Of Rice" is released next, and "Best Days Of Your Life" released after that :) well maybe there will be better songs than those on the album, but i just love those 2 so much i hope it's OK to post this update, but i think its important. 29 29 KELLIE PICKLER Don't You Know You'r... 1093 966 127 6.536 she has a very healthy bullet. hopefully she can move up into the top 20 in a few weeks. She will pass Josh Gracin, Jessica Simpson, Gary Allan, Brooks & Dunn, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, and Alan Jackson within the next few weeks and she could catch up to Craig Morgan soon and her and Jamey Johnson are going back and forth. so i think she can be top 20 within 3-4 weeks if she keeps it up :) Tim McGraw will probably pass her soon though :( The album release is 7 weeks away so i think it will be in a pretty good place when its released. about #18 or so :) i hope its spectacular!

^ Yeah, that seems pretty weak. It wouldn't be so bad if all 10 tracks were new, but the fact that one of them is a remake of a song from her first album is a little annoying.

But you have to remember that the album will be coming with a DVD. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's why there's so few songs.
Plus, you can buy the album off iTunes and get 13 songs.

It's a behind-the-scenes DVD of Kellie on tour and in the studio.

There will be 11 songs afterall...
Kellie said in a quick chat yesterday that the track list just got finalized and one of her favorite songs made the cut. "Going Out In Style" was suppose to be an iTunes bonus track. But they added it to the album last minute.

Yep. I would expect the official track list to show up soon now that everything's been finalized. Even though we already pretty much know what it is, it'll be nice to get confirmation.
It should show up within the next two weeks, I would think. And hopefully we'll find out about the DVD soon too.

Maybe they put Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You on this album again because they're finally planning to release it as a single. I always thought they missed out on a huge country hit and even pop crossover with that one.

I always thought they missed out on a huge country hit and even pop crossover with that one. Correct. It was going to be the fourth single but they decided to get the new album out sooner and release the first single off the new album out next instead. So they decided to re-record DYKHMILY and put it on the new album too. And release it as a single later on. Kellie said it will "for sure" be a single this time. She also said that if she had any say, "Things" would never have been a single and DYKHMILY would've been the third one instead.

Like I said I thought they really missed the boat not releasing DYKHMILY. Can't wait for it to be released and blow up.

Her videos always do so well. That's why I still don't understand why they didn't throw in some cash for a Man's Mind video. =/
