So it could be the same as the Andrews song?

I'm not sure. I tried finding something about the Jessica Andrews song but couldn't find anything on Google. If she did record a song called "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You", then it's probably the same song. I know she's recorded Aimee Mayo songs before.

Is it my imagination or does Kellie's voice sound "weird" on this song. Almost like it's got some kind of electronic processing or something (I'm no expert so I don't know the technical terms), just a lot different than she sounded on her last CD. I hope that this isn't the best her next album has to offer, because I still think there were songs on her other CD that are miles better than this. I think "Small Town Girl" should have been her signature single because I always liked it the best. Anyway, good luck to ya, Kellie, and I hope that you show us something a little better than this in the coming months!! Have a nice day.

I think the production's different, but she doesn't sound like she doctored her voice in the studio. There might be a vocal filter or something, though; something about the production does make it sound way different from the singles off her first album.

She has a new producer... Do you know who? Blake Chancey produced Small Town Girl. Chris Lindsey (husband of Aimee Mayo) is producing the new CD. He co-wrote a lot of the songs on STG, including "I Wonder" and "RHH".

I thought the name Chris Lindsay sounded familiar, though I had to think about it. He co-wrote Underwood's "Before He Cheats." I listened to the tracks off Kellie's forthcoming CD and 'excited' is not a strong enough word to describe my sentiments toward her sophmore effort. I simply cannot wait for this album to drop so it can take its rightful place in my stereo next to Carrie's Carnival Ride and Sugarland's Love On The Inside, which I know I'll love as well. Kellie is among my favorite country females and I absolutely loved her debut, and with better songs this album is sure to be a treat! Also, SO glad to hear that "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" is set to be on the new album as well. That song is fantastic and, boy, did BNA drop the ball not releasing that one the first time around. I really do think that DYKHMILY had the potential to be bigger than all of Kellie's previous singles. Just so much heart and soul in the lyrics and her voice...very easily relatable. Kellie sure does have one beautiful voice. :)

"Before He Cheats" is co-written by Joshua Kear and Chris Tompkins ( here's the ASCAP registration for the song). Chris Lindsey did not co-write it. He did co-write a different Carrie Underwood song: "Wheel of the World" ( ASCAP registration).

His name just sounded SO familiar that I was almost certain that is was he who co-wrote BHC. But, perhaps it was "Wheel of the World" that I heard his name associated with. Thanks for the clarification, 43dudleyvillas! :)

But, coincidentally Kellie's new song "Rocks Instead of Rice" was written by Kellie, Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins.

Music City TV reports that part of the music video was shot yesterday at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, directed by Deaton/Flanigen. Another part was filmed at Hillwood High School today.

Here's a concert video (clearest one I've seen) of "Rocks Instead of Rice". This is the song that Kellie co-wrote with the guys that wrote "Before He Cheats". LINKThere's no way this won't be a single. And I would say there's a very good chance that it will be the next one. I think I have all of the lyrics except part of the bridge. Can anyone else make it out? Long, white limousine pulls up to a church The sick part of me wishes it was a hearse I didn't get an invitation but I'm here anyway And I don't care if I'm crashing their big day
Well, it might not be too Christian of me And it might not be too nice But I wish we were all just standing around Throwing rocks instead of rice
Long, white dress this must me some kind of joke Virgin? Please! She ain't foolin' these folks If the three of us were on Jerry Springer I'd be pullin' her hair And I'd kick that lying sack of should've known better In you know where
Well, it might not be too Christian of me And it might not be too nice But I wish we were all just standing around Throwing rocks instead of rice
------- sound sweet and sincere Place your bets, my money's on less than a year
Well, it might not be too Christian of me And it might not be too nice But I wish we were all just standing around Throwing rocks instead of rice

Thanks for that avsfan. I can't view videos from this pc, but the lyrics sound pretty good. Reminds me alot of Lee Ann Womack's "I'll Think Of A Reason Later".

Kelly sent this bulletion out on myspace:
Hey everyone!!
Just wanted to say a quick hello and get you all updated on a few things. Today we finished shooting the new music video for my new song "don't you know you're beautiful".....we shot the video all day Tuesday and all day today (wed) and we are finally done! It was the most fun I have ever had on a video shoot! I used the same video directors that shot "I Wonder" and I really think it is going to be an amazing video! Here's what to expect.....well it's all about the girls this time....so we shot the video in many different locations around Nashville.....I was so blessed to be able to shoot some of the video at the children's hospital. The kids there were amazing and so sweet....I really enjoyed hanging out with them and just having a girls day. One of the other locations was a roller skating rink....which was very challenging for me....I haven't been on roller skates since I worked at Sonic! Let's just say that I am covered with bruises....I took a couple falls!! ha ha! We shot at so many different places that I can't name them all.....overall, it was a very productive two days....I am anxious to see what the final video will look like. I will post a few pictures from the shoot ASAP!! I Hope you all are having a great summer!!! I just hit the road again....I am on the road for 6 straight weeks this time!!!!! hope to see you all at a show this summer!!!
xoxo pickles!!!

Kellie's manager said that more details should be released about the new album in a couple weeks. My guess would be the album's name and release date.
I think "The Best Days of Your Life" would be a good choice for album title!
