Pretty good. Hopefully with the success of Just Got Started Lovin' You, this will go top ten.

This is an enjoyable tune, for sure. It has a nice hook.

I'm torn on this song. I thinks it's a very good song, not the best on the album, but good nonetheless. His vocals are downright impressive. However, I'm not sure this the most radio-friendly song on the album. Sunset Man would've been my choice for a slower single. James is so talented and versatile, which is refreshing in the modern, overproduced, "pretty-boy" state of country music, and I'm really rooting for him, I just hope this is the right song to sustain him as a Top 10 hitmaker.

Couldnt agree more. Its not bad , but I'm not convinced this is a great choice to follow up the current single. I thought Drink & Dial would have been the perfect "summer song".

D&D is my least fave song on the album and the only one I skip.

I guess he wants to release a ballad next to switch it up a bit. This album has several strong ones, and this is one of them. So I'm okay with the choice.

Drink & Dial is a no-brainer single choice, but I'm guessing it will be the album closer. You're right about it being a great summer song, and it probably will be -- in the summer of '09.

Yea , your prolly right. Dang , I hate how slow the charts move these days...and how long it takes artists to get new records out though. Usually by the 2nd or third single Im tired of the average album...

This guy might be the second coming of Travis Tritt. Travis's ballads were received very well by radio, and I think Otto's will be too.
Now I've heard three songs (DAD) and I'm willing to spend money for the album.

I wouldnt say he could fill Mr Tritts shoes , BUT I do think hes the closest thing to it thats came out in a looong time. I dunno if you do the I-Tunes thing or not Zazie ,but they had three bonus tracks that come with there album download, if its still available. Including the STELLER (to borrow Marvs word) "The Bigger The Caddy"

Aww, I was just warming up to "Ain't Gonna Stop."This guy might be the second coming of Travis Tritt. Travis's ballads were received very well by radio, and I think Otto's will be too. Travis was the first artist I thought of when I heard this (well besides James...). This song is GREAT. His voice is great on this, and I'll definately be picking up his album soon, too. (When I say "pick up" I mean "download from iTunes.")

I'm not really trying to compare Otto to TT at this point, and I'm not optimistic he'll ever get there. But at least his music is in the right direction. TT is one of my favorite singers ever. And what a live show he puts on!

Yup I totally agree.I put Travis on a pedestal . Hes one of the few newer artist that I put up with the likes of Jones & Haggard. Kinda sounds funny considering a guy thats been out for almost 20 years as "newer". But if you consider most of my musical heros are well past the age of being able to collect social security checks....
In any case, I agree hes off to a great start. I just hope John Rich isnt able to influence him TO much. I think Id lose alot of respect if he started singin' lines like "If you wanna little ting in your tang tang".
Edited because.....yea Travis puts on a great show....Ive seen him live at least half a dozen times....

Very well written, solid vocals (I agree with the Travis Tritt comparison). Hopefully this will take off like Just Got Started Lovin' You did.

Oh my, I just heard this song for the first time and I am very impressed. Beautiful song and his vocals sound really heartfelt. I like it a lot. Hope it does well for him.

Great, great song. Talk about singing with conviction. I also agree with the Tritt comparisons. I thought the song would've moved up a little quicker after the previously hit. But if 4 number ones couldn't propel Rodney Atkins' ballad in the summer, then I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that this one isn't burning up the charts.

Radio PDs don't appear to have as much guts these days when contemplating adding the follow-up to a huge single such as 'Just Got Started Loving You' (2008's #1 single of the year, barring something overtakng it over the next five months, somewhat unlikely) or 'Cleaning This Gun'.
I also wish this song was moving up the charts a lot quicker, and the same goes for 'Invisibly Shaken'.

Well, just because you have a huge hit doesn't mean the next single will be one. Just look at Steve Holy for example.

Just heard this song yesterday, and the vocals are really impressive. His other song did not show much range, but this song is great. If it doesn't make top 10, I will be surprised. Rodney Atkins's ballad can't even be compared to this guy. Maybe if Rodney would actually sing notes instead of doing that mumbly growly garbage on every note, he would do better.

I like this one a lot. He's got a great album!
BTW, for those of you who didn't know, this cut was co-produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts. ;)

I like all 3 of the songs that Jay co-produced for James. John Rich doesn't overproduce this album as bad as some of the others he has done, but I still like the variety that Jay's production brings to the record (more contemporary, but not overly slick or flashy).

I decided to take a listen to this song just now on the computer (I usually like to wait to hear most songs for the very first time on the radio since I always end up liking songs much better when I listen on the radio).
I am in love with this on just the first listen on my computer! I can't imagine how great it will sound on the radio (and especially after I learn all the words so I can jam out and make all my neighbors mad). I loved "Just Got Started Lovin' You", but right now, I like this one even better.
James is 2/2 with me so far. I may seriously have to consider purchasing his album.

They've produced or co-produced everything since the Me & My Gang album. ;) ANYWHO (sorry, not trying to high-jack), yeah, can't wait to hear this one on radio!
