I want Cindy and Terry to get another girl as well, and I'd go see them. Terry can sing better than Max and Dawn anyway. That's what Rhona is for! I love Rhona. Her solo album that Rodney Jerkins did with her is stellar. You guys would all dig it, it's hot. She should get on The Voice or X-Factor.

I am officially done w/them. I don't claim or don't know anything from them post "EV3". You should maybe stretch your knowledge to Masterpiece Theater at least. I think it's their second best album after Funky Divas.

2 En Vogues's? What kinda foolery?! *sighs* Well i'll keep listening to their GH album and reminiscing because it seems like they can't get their s**t together. tbh I want all 4 ORIGINAL members or NONE of them at all. Why can't these heifers just get along :'(

Chile! This is what Cindy and Terry posted on their facebook page.
Dear EnVogue fans, In regards to the recent twitter and face book posts alleging that Terry and Cindy have replaced Maxine Jones with Rhona, we would like to respond.
Terry and Cindy are not replacing Maxine Jones. We have however asked Rhona to fill in temporarily so that we can continue to bring live shows to our fans. Thus far, Rhona has only done three shows with us since June 2012. The group has always added someone whenever a member has been unable or unwilling to perform or has left the group. Terry and I have not kicked Maxine out of the group. There are always two sides to a story and many internal facts that you the fans aren't hearing about. In an effort to not air dirty laundry, or appear to point the finger at anyone, we respectfully choose to remain silent on the internal issues. We appreciate you the fans continuing to support Envogue individually, and as a whole. Thank you,
Cindy and Terry

One of the main reasons why En Vogue is one of my all-time favorite female R&B groups is that indeed, ALL four girls can sing really well. I'd hate to see them being split (they had such a nice run with that 20th anniversary/original lineup), but oh well...

Spitsville: En Vogue Battle In Online FeudThe on-again, off-again, on-again 90¡äs R&B girl group En Vogue is officially on the outs again! The female quartet ¨C made up of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson ¨C has had many incarnations since making their debut in July 1989. Now, after a public spat on Twitter and Facebook, it appears as though there may now be two facets of En Vogue ¨C one with Robinson, Jones and two new members; and another with Ellis, Herron and regular fill-in singer Rhona Bennett. Though the group had been performing concert dates with the original four members, behind the scenes in-fighting has yet again got the best of them. On July 24, Robinson took to her official Twitter page @dawnrobinson_ to announce that the group was splitting in half, with her and Jones moving forward with two new singers. READ THE TWEET:Ellis and Herron then took to Facebook to address the issue, opting to take the high road in the explanation they posted. READ THE FACEBOOK MESSAGE:Here is a timeline of when problems began with En Vogue and replacement members emerged:> In 1997, Robinson left En Vogue to pursue her solo career. The trio of Jones, Herron and Ellis released the CD, ¡°EV3¡å that same year. > In 2000, En Vogue released ¡®Masterpiece Theater¡¯ on Elektra Records before ultimately being dropped by the label. > In 2001, Jones departed the group to spend time with her family and was replaced by a singer named Amanda Cole. The new En Vogue trio ¨C Herron, Ellis and Cole ¨C then released a holiday CD called ¡®The Gift of Christmas.¡¯ > In 2002, Cole vacated the group and was replaced by Bennett in the En Vogue trio. Bennett was fresh off ¡°The Jamie Foxx Show,¡± where she joined the cast as a recurring character in 2000. > Also in 2002, Robinson ¨C having been ousted from the R&B collective Lucy Pearl by its founder Raphael Saadiq ¨C released her solo self-titled opus that went unnoticed. > In 2004, the Herron, Ellis and Bennett trio of En Vogue released an independent CD called ¡®Soul Flower.¡¯ Jones returned to the group around this time to fill-in for Herron who needed to take maternity leave while the group was on a European tour. > In 2005, the original four members reunited to record Stevie Wonder¡¯s song, ¡®So What the Fuss¡¯ for Wonder¡¯s ¡°A Time to Love¡± CD. They also performed the song with him on the ¡°Oprah Show.¡± Later that year, En Vogue performed ¡°Whatta Man¡± on VH-1¡äs ¡°Hip Hop Honors¡± as part of the tribute to honorees Salt-N-Pepa. Robinson never returned to the group full-time during this time and Bennett continued to perform concert dates with the other three original members. > In 2008, I wrote a story for AOL Black Voices about En Vogue reuniting with the original foursome for the Plymouth Jazz Festival in Tobago. It was the first time the originating members had sung together since 2005. ¡°We¡¯re blessed to be together right now,¡± Robinson said then. When I asked about Bennett and her working with the group moving forward, Herron answered: ¡°Rhona is also still with the group. She will be working with us as we need her. It¡¯s all about balancing everything. We have to work our shows into our family life. But balance is the key.¡± After their reunion in Tobago, En Vogue would go on to do regular concert dates with the originating members, in addition to high profile performances on the BET Awards (2008), the Trumpet Awards (2009) and at Essence Magazine¡¯s Evening of Excellence during the Congressional Black Caucus (2010). At some point during this time, in-fighting and creative differences began to pose challenges yet again. Things grew especially tense in 2011 when En Vogue was offered a reality series by the same production company that produced ¡°K-Ci & JoJo¡Come Clean¡± for TV One. I reported on the Tom Joyner Morning Show back then that the deal fell apart because apparently Robinson wouldn¡¯t sign the contract without a stipulation that guaranteed if she participated in the group series, she would receive a spin-off for her and her husband. Regardless, the original members continued to perform together on the road. Now, the return of Bennett on dates when Robinson or Jones are not unavailable appear to have ignited the group¡¯s latest beef. After years of fighting, splits, substitutions and reunions, it may just be time for this group to permanently call it quits!

ANd THE PLOT THIckENS www.gicpublicrelations.net/?p=1646 Los Angeles, CA – Girl in Charge Public Relations (GICPR) adds multi-award winning, triple platinum recording artists Dawn Robinson, and Maxine Jones to their client roster. The internationally acclaimed entertainers are former members of one of the best selling female groups in history; En Vogue. According to Amy Malone, President of GICPR, both artists are a welcome addition to their diverse client roster which includes award winning recording artist, actors, and authors. “Dawn and Maxine were part of one of the most important female groups in history. They are both incredibly talented women in their own right and we plan to help develop opportunities for each of them both individually and collectively. There is no limit to the level of success talent of this magnitude can achieve, and I am privileged to play a role in the development process,” said Ms. Malone. Maxine, and Dawn are both working on solo projects, including new studio recordings, reality shows, and books, but they definitely have something special forthcoming for their fans. The ladies will continue to tour under the En Vogue moniker for a brief period, while they are in the studio putting the finishing touches on their solo projects. The ladies impeccable stage presence continues to captivate audiences and leave their fans spellbound. “Our time with En Vogue was a phenomenal experience, one that we will always treasure. We achieved a level of success that few music groups ever achieve and for that we are truly thankful, but now it is time to explore new opportunities. As with any group of talented people your creativity sometimes takes you in different directions and right now Dawn and I are ready to connect with our fans on a new level that is why we are working on a reality show, writing books and making new music,” said Maxine. “Contrary to what fans might hear or read, my departure from the original En Vogue lineup was not a move I wanted to make, but one that I had to make. In order for me to be true to myself and hold on to my integrity, I had to put an end to what I felt were unprofessional tactics and remove myself from what was no longer an acceptable situation for me. I love our fans and will continue to give them my all on stage and in the studio. I hope they continue on this new journey with Dawn and I. We guarantee to keep the music FUNKY!” GIC Public Relations will play a significant role in promoting their new CD’s as well as working with them on some of their new ventures. Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson are now ready to talk about their successful careers, as well as some of the downfalls and challenges they faced being strong, independent women, in the music industry. They will share their stories and all the things that came along with being a part of one of the biggest female groups in the world. To receive a press kit or schedule interviews with Dawn Robinson or Maxine Jones please contact Amy Malone at 323-972-4081 , or via email at amy@gicpublicrelations.net. Dawn is the problem and always will be. Her antics are tiresome. If she woulda blew up when she went solo I would say it was all worth it. En Vogue had a lot more life in them. She really ruined their momentum. Still a fucking classic!

Ugh. No real or interesting development here as Dawn Robinson lets Lucy Pearl's massive success and Emmy Award-considered cameo on A Different World get to her head ONCE MORE. :firm biz:

Wow! So THAT's what happen to that reality show smh! Dawn tried to get a spinoff!
Only one I would be interested in a solo project from would be Terry. Especially not Maxine! Poor Dawn she's been trying the solo thing since 1997.
At least Terry and Cindy are still performing concerts but they need a fourth lady to give the four part harmony.

Yeah, I'm happy I was able to see the original four live in concert (last year), especially since the first time I went (2-3 years ago) it ended up being Cindy/Terry/Maxine/Rhona instead.

I like the new girls voice. Hmm. Wonder how she'll sound on "Don't Let Go (Love)"?
Anyway, I've watched almost everything they have on youtube today and I can honestly say, I would support 4 different en Vogue's. They could all lead a different group of 3 or 4 women and call themselves en Vogue and my ass would be there. They are THAT damn good!

The amount of $ they're fighting for is not even worth all this bickering, fighting & disbanding & starting sub-groups. All the $ is gonna go straight to their fees & lawyers. I am truly disapppointed w/these ladies. None of them or their little groups will go anywhere. They're not only being selfish amongst themselves, but towards their fans.
