Per Maxine's Twitter, the court date for the lawsuit that Cindy & Terry have against Maxine is November 7th. Meanwhile, Maxine & Dawn's site has launched: heirs2thethrone.com/

Here's the first promotional photo for Dawn & Maxine's new duo HEIRS: I'm glad Keyshia Cole and Star Jones are partnering on something so worthwhile.

They sound good!
Cindy's voice has gotten stronger to me. Terry and Rhona sound good as well.
I liked all the videos but REALLY liked "Whatta Man" nice creative elements they added to the rapping parts.
Harmonies are still on point!
I wish they would add "Runaway Love" and "Don't Go" to their set.
Glad their still doing shows. They are great singers/performers.

still no new music from either group? Nope. Terry+Cindy+Rhona are still doing some tour dates, while it looks like Dawn+Maxine+Shaunie are gearing up to tour as well. Dawn+Maxine have a show this weekend:

Rhona posted some touring footage:
No footage from the Dawn+Maxine show at Blues Alley, although there is...a review?

NOW DAWN AND MAX ARE NO LONGER WORKING TOGETHER....MY GOODNESS!
Funky Fallout: More Drama In En Vogue Saga
AlwaysAList.com has covered the on-again, off-again dynamic of R&B group En Vogue since the group began having problems yet again in July 2012. READ: Splitsville: En Vogue Battle In Online Feud As reported then, the reunited original members – Maxine Jones, Dawn Robinson, Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron – had yet another tiff that carried over into the social media space and this time, the group split in half. Jones and Robinson did some media rounds and sat down with Shaun Robinson on “Access Hollywood” to talk about the group’s most recent breakup. The two ladies also announced plans to perform as a duo called Heirs to the Throne.
Dawn Robinson & Maxine Jones The Heirs, Jones and Robinson, performed four sold-out shows during Inaugural Weekend at Blues Alley in Washington, DC. The intimate club show—their first as a duo—featured a four-piece band and two backup singers. Robinson and Jones performed classic En Vogue tunes, Lucy Pearl hits and a medley of songs by iconic female singers like Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige and Donna Summer, among others. Their club date was pretty close to the show that the reunited En Vogue had been performing on the road. Their two background singers at times sang on top of prerecorded vocals recorded by the two absent original members. During one of the Friday shows, one of the background singers was singing out of pitch and Robinson turned to her and began singing the right note to help get her back on key. The second singer, who sported green hair, was an outstanding vocalist that received a huge ovation from the audience after singing a solo line during Lucy Pearl’s “Dance Tonight.”
Maxine Jones (right) & new Heirs to the Throne members Following the shows, AlwaysAList.com learned that Jones and Robinson have had creative differences and will no longer be moving forward as the Heirs to the Throne duo. Jones even released a photo with two unknown singers – one of which (in the middle) sang background during the Blues Alley show – and they are apparently the new members of her Heirs to the Throne trio. Apparently Robinson plans to re-launch her solo career. In 2002, Robinson – having been ousted from the R&B collective Lucy Pearl by its founder Raphael Saadiq– released her self-titled solo debut. The CD went unnoticed and never made a chart impact.
Rhona Bennett Their former group members, Ellis and Herron, have brought back occasional fill-in member Rhona Bennett and continue to perform as En Vogue. Ellis and Herron are currently going through legal arbitration with Jones over En Vogue’s business affairs. As previously reported, Robinson signed away all rights to the En Vogue name and business enterprise when she departed the group in 1997. In a time where groups like New Edition, SWV, Dru Hill, Boyz II Men and others are having career resurgences and work consistently, it’s unfortunate that En Vogue just can not keep it together!

Wow "Heirs" is done before even getting started can't say I'm surprised.
I hope Terry, Cindy and Rhona (En Vogue) can get a good label deal and put out some new music with GOOD producers.

I want something as funky as "Ooh Boy" from the Cindy-Terry-Rhona trio. I can't sit still when I hear that song!

Dawn is so notoriously difficult to work with that I think starting her own group that she's completely in charge of is basically her only option at this point (since the solo thing wasn't working out).

Tickets for En Vogue's 2-night show in San Diego, CA go on sale April 1st! Glad to see them finally using a photo w/the current lineup rather than one including Maxine, but Terry+Cindy+Rhona really need to take a new one! Meanwhile, the girls aren't doing any shows until May, so right now Rhona did a play in Hollywood over this past weekend called Love the One You're With, and Cindy (as well as her whole family!) are doing The Passion Play at the Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, CA. www.passionplaylive.com/
