Is "Who Needs Pictures" the only Brad song that didn't make top 10. If so, that's a shame because I think it's one of his best songs. The best ones never get to the top. :( Nope. Me Neither peaked at #18. Oops. Thanks for that. Forgot about that one.

So did I---thanks!!!!
'WOAW' should be #1 within 2-3 weeks, and that's not too shabby either.

I think Brad has a great chance of moving up to #1 next week. He's been going back and forth with Jimmy Wayne on the Real Time Tracker today, but I have a feeling Jimmy's song will start to flatten out after a big push last week.
If Brad does get to #1 next week, he could stay there for 3-4 weeks. Darius or Kenny would likely replace Brad at #1, but they're approximately 4.4 million and 5.1 million behind Brad, respectively.

Yeah, I agree. I'm 99% confident that Brad will be #1 next week. He's sure on a role isn't he!

i think Jimmy will be #1 again next week, and Brad the week after. Jimmy is still gaining constantly and he is still a bit ahead of Brad.

Remember his last single? He blocked both Rascal Flatts (WAALG) and Phil Vassar (LIABT) from getting #1.

He (Vassar) even went so far as to congratulate 'my friend' Brad for hitting #1 in the issue of Country Aircheck Music Edition in which 'I'm Still A Guy' remained #1 for the fourth consecutive week.
One extremely bizarre chart tidbit regarding 'WOAW' is that it hasn't cracked the Mediabase top 50 in year-to-date spins yet, despite being in the top 3 right now.
The #50 song in spins since January 1st (Every Other Weekend) has 34,033 spins--so something must be wrong at either All Access or Mediabase.

"Winner..." was blocked by "Letter To Me". at the CMA Music Festival, i got to see Phil (and he was great!) and when he played "Love Is A Beautiful Thing" he said "This song is currently sitting at #2 on the Billboard Country Chart. It would be #1 but Brad Paisley won't get out of the way." [in a joking manner]. i just thought that was funny

I did mean to say "Every Day" not WAALG. Funny that Brad's last two singles have blocked RF's last two singles from hitting #1.

Brad mentions in this interview with KMPS that his next single will be his duet with Keith Urban ("Start A Band") from his upcoming Play album. He said it will be released this month. It should be very interesting to see how much this single will be promoted and if it can keep his #1 streak alive.

Is it just me, or is Brad protooling his voice way more now? I noticed it on "every chance you can" from "Letter to Me"; he totally misses the "can" and pro tooled it to try and mask it. I'm hearing a LOT of protooling on this song as well, and every time I've heard him live, he's sounded like he was sick.

Brad Paisley AND Keith Urban. on one song TOGETHER. i smell a huge debut and a huge #1 hit there. unless its really awful, then it will hit #1 and fall to oblivion (like Chesney will do by next month).

Does the duet have vocals? Or is it purely instrumental?

OMG I'm so excited for his new song with Keith Urban! they need to hurry up and release it lol. WOAW is old as hell. It's only 12 weeks old, which for someone of Brad's caliber is not a slow climb. If it reaches #1 on the 27th, that'll make it #1 in its 14th week, which is pretty much on par compared to his last few singles. Here's how many weeks it took each of his #1s to get there: "He Didn't Have to Be" - 15 "We Danced" - 23 "I'm Gonna Miss Her…" - 19 "Mud on the Tires" - 21 "When I Get Where I'm Going" - 22 "The World" - 17 "She's Everything" - 18 "Ticks" - 16 "Online" - 15 "Letter to Me" - 15 "I'm Still a Guy" - 13 At this rate, he should be having Kenny Chesney-style runs sometime in 2009.

I think pipi was referring to the fact that "Waitin' On A Woman" is originally from an album that was released three years ago. Edit: Jimmy Wayne has recently taken over the #1 spot from Brad on the Real Time Tracker. This should be a close race, but I still think Brad will come out on top.

i think somewhere it was mentioned that Brad will include a few songs on the album "Play" that will be instrumental and vocal collaborations, like the song with Keith Urban.

Well, if Brad and Jimmy are flip-flopping right now, I believe the chances are greatly in Brad's favor. I read that this weekend, Brad will earn the extra spin on Country Countdown USA, and Jimmy will lose the extra spin on Country Countdown USA (he had the extra spin last weekend). With the race this close, Brad should finish the week at #1, at least on Billboard/R&R. Mediabase is another story.

Well, Jimmy will hold on to that #1 on Mediabase/ Country Aircheck, but Brad definitely looks like he'll take over the top spot on Billboard/ Radio&Records. So all of you were right! :)

Those eight straight charttoppers for Brad @ BB matched the feat of The Judds, whose streak of eight straight #1s ended in 1987 with 'Cry Myself To Sleep'.
Alabama's mark of twenty-one straight number one tunes also came to an end in 1987 with 'Touch Me While We're Dancing', according to the newest issue of R&R.

I'm listening to highlights of Brad's co-hosting stint and interestingly Billy Bob Thornton was the one who suggested that Andy Griffith be cast in the video.

That is very cool. I am so glad that he gave Brad that suggestion because this is one of my favorite videos and the best one he's done so far! I couldn't think of a better person to use in the video.

He did make it to #1 @ Country Aircheck/Mediabase without a bullet, but Darius Rucker figures to replace him next week.
