The Saturdays are a new UK girl group who remind me of a cross between Girls Aloud and The Pussycat Dolls.
Their first single is called "If This Is Love" and is a great pop/dance song.
So far there is a club mix by moto blanco which is follows their usual sound, but is still pretty good. I'm hoping to hear some other mixes. :)
Anybody else heard their first single or mixes?

Yeah I like this song a lot too...I'm sort of feeling the original version more than the Moto Blanco mixes. Perhaps that will change with time...

That's one scary description. Girls Aloud and The Pussyflap Trolls. The worst girl groups from the UK and US. TPD have never done a dance track from scratch though, not sure if comparing them to TPD is accurate (based on this song). Here's something you lot would find interesting: The Saturdays feature two S Club Juniors / S Club 8 members. |

Mollie King, Una Healy and Vanessa White complete the quintet. You can see them all here: www.thesaturdays.co.uk/The Moto Blanco mix is not bad at all. I enjoyed a couple of their singles and subsequent remixes but by no means did I go out of my way to listen to S Club. Now...careful...I did/do a bit of Rachel Stevens now and again...and sort of wish she would give up on her acting career and come back to recording brilliantly-reviewed pop songs that no one in the UK buys or pays much attention to.  |
