Beysus can step aside
Before the end of the year we will have a new all time champion on this list (if we include re-releases)
Taylor Swift shouldn't have any trouble placing a couple of her new songs from Fearless Deluxe in the top 40

Billboard's Woman of the Year, Beyonce, becomes the fifth female in Hot 100 history to place six songs from one album within the top 40. Her "Sweet Dreams" climbs 46-39 this week. The other women to place six songs from one album in the top 40 of the Hot 100 are Janet Jackson (three times), Shania Twain, Rihanna and Taylor Swift. www.billboard.com/news#/news/mariah-carey-goes-top-10-on-billboard-hot-1004010990.storySo they don't consider Party People a track from The Duchess or don't consider Fergie a woman...

So neither of your era lists there are correct. She's accomplished enough great feats without us manipulating data...let's keep to the truth

Yes but in this list we are considering every track that is on the album...That's why Fergie had 6 top 40 hits while for Billboard only 5... So if we are doing this for Fergie why not for Beyoncé?

If that's the case, we may as well include all tracks from greatest hits albums and stuff too.
But since we know we can't, those examples don't really count either.

Party People is Nelly feat. Fergie and is from Nelly's album. So, it's not counted. The only extra singles are Finally(Radio single) and Here I Come(Aussie single).

If Kelly released Gone and/or Addicted, any of them will probably peak at the 30s, making another record... Sigh...

Billboard's Woman of the Year, Beyonce, ... Will Beyonce be Billboard's Female Artist of the Year this year? It'd make sense between 2m+ sold and a slew of top 40 singles, including Halo & SL. Bee vs. Gaga vs. Taylor?

Needs to be updated, esp for Taylor Swift She should now top the list with 12 top 40 hits from Fearless (!) And Fifteen should be top 40 in the next few weeks, making it 13

I am probably going to be revising my lists this time to separate out reissues. This includes Rihanna, amd everyone else who had a lot of songs due to reissues. Or I might ackowledge it separately, not sure. Haven't reviewed this weeks chart yet.
But I would say it is safe to believe that 13 singles, at the time they charted was not due to one album
Of course my opinion could change if Billboard issues a statement that ackowledges a chart record for most hits from one album

I am going to revise this list when I get a chance to separate hits that came exclusively from reissues from those that came from the original
Fearless - original has 6 Fearless Platinum has 6
so this album will be listed twice

Forever & Always is arguable for either side. What's the 6th hit on Fergie's Dutchess?? So for the double album, 2 from I Am, 4 from Sasha Fierce. And isn't the 6th hit from Futuresex from a re-release? Until the End of Time with Beyonce isn't on the original. I Am... Sasha Fierce is one unit. You cannot buy them as separate commercial albums. "Until the End of Time" was a top 40 hit before the Beyoncé version was even released.

Oh. I just knew it peaked with the Beyonce version.
I am aware that Beyonce's is one album, but I am also aware that it's a double album on 2 CD's.

I hope Video Phone can go top 40 :) The Sasha Fierce era has been amazing :) And Beyonce's CD is split up in two, but it's not like it's an double album per say. It has just about the same amount of songs on a standard CD, she just split them up, for the Sasha gimmick.

I am aware that Beyonce's is one album, but I am also aware that it's a double album on 2 CD's. Not a double album by RIAA standards, but yes, it is spread over 2 physical discs. I'm not understanding what this means, though. In cases such as this, or Speakerboxx/The Love Below, records are kept with the album as a unit. It's for special editions (e.g., Nelly's Sweat/Suit) of single albums previously released that everything stays separate. Are you proposing multi-disc sets should be broken up by disc, rather than considering commercial units?

If Video Phone becomes a hit, it would be the one from the re-release feat. Gaga right? So yeah.
I'm not making a statement about what should count; I was simply noting that I Am and Sasha Fierce are separate CD's.

I'm not making a statement about what should count; I was simply noting that I Am and Sasha Fierce are separate CD's. I see. I guess I was just trying to figure out what sparked that observation.

I wish 17-19 songs were the standard CD...nowadays artist need to give us more but I thought 11-13 tracks were standard.

I believe for IASF to be considered a double disc such as Shania's UP is that each CD has to meet with the time criteria. I guess having 5-6 songs on each CD doesn't cut it.
