The Randy Travis album is scheduled for July 15. Don't know off the top of my head what it was originally. That's what I thought. Seems kind of odd that they would release the new single to iTunes two weeks before the new album, although I guess that's pretty much what Sugarland did.

pretty disappointing week this week especially compared to last week. well at least i wont have to spend any money! :) You mean you're not as excited for new music by Lee Ann Womack and Randy Travis as you were for new Sugarland and Kellie Pickler? If that isn't the silliest thing i've ever heard. Seriously though, I will definetly be getting Lee Ann's new single, but I'll probably just wait and buy Randy's new album (does anyone know if it has been pushed back?) yes i am Sugarland, Kellie Pickler, Jessica Simpson >>>>>>>Lee Ann Womack and Randy Travis. i do like Lee Ann's song though. but Kellie & Sugarland are 2 of my favorite artists

I just downloaded Randy's single and love it. Also loving the whole pepsistuff promotion. Free music Woo Hoo! I think I'll be sticking with Amazon even after the promotion. My I-Tunes songs always have pops and even skip sometimes....

Yeah that's my fault. Amazon didn't list it (even though it was also released there) and I didn't go back to edit my post when I saw it was on iTunes.
I guess It's also worth mentioning Phil Stacey's "Old Glory" was released to iTunes and Amazon somewhere between July 1st and the 6th.

I'm debating whether or not I should buy the dance remix of "Good Time". I love the original album version and the dance mix is basically the same with nothing new put in, except for different verses put in different places and the Possum's "yeahhh" in there lol.

It's the version used in the video, if that helps you any.

Not a very busy week at all. July 22, 2008 releases[/u] (Amazon) Singles:Gretchen Wilson - Don't Do Me No Good ($.99) Albums:Phil Vassar - Greatest Hits (15 tracks - $9.99) Sugarland - Love On The Inside [Deluxe Fan Edition] (17 tracks - $9.49) --Note: "Fall Into Me," "Operation:Working Vacation," "Wishing," "Life In A Northern Town (Live)," and "Come On Get Higher (Live)" are available only with purchase of the whole album. Good deals on both of the albums. That's 67 cents per track for Phil's album (albeit an old release) and only 56 cents per track on Sugarland's album, which now I am seriously considering buying.

Great Idea for this thread! I use Napster and Wal-Mart for my downloads
Any chance for the following to be future downloads:
Crazy Days-Adam Gregory I Love This Song - Marcel They Call It Falling For A Reason - Trisha Yearwood
I not a Mac fan and use Windows Media Player and would like to know if Amazon Music Site is Windows-friendly? I am glad Amazon has Gretchen and Lee Brice.

um, well Kid Rock doesn't believe in digital music. Marcel is on Lyric Street, which does not release singles to iTunes, only albums so you will have to wait until his album comes out. Trisha is already on digital stores. But I have no clue about Adam Gregory, i would have thought it would already be out.

Any chance for the following to be future downloads: Crazy Days-Adam Gregory I Love This Song - Marcel They Call It Falling For A Reason - Trisha Yearwood Definitely not Trisha - on Amazon, anyways. Big Machine has yet to make Taylor Swift's album(s) available; I doubt they'll do it for Trisha. I can't really open iTunes right now to check, but her myspace has a link to buy SSN on iTunes; so that probably means Taylor's and Trisha's albums are available on iTunes. BUT I'd bet almost anything that, if they are on iTunes, that they are DRM-protected. (Extra for that!) So, you can't use them on Windows Media Player (unless you still have iTunes version 6 or earlier, but that's a whole 'nother paragraph). Don't expect Marcel's to be on there until his album is. LS doesn't release singles (exception being songs like Phil Stacey's "Old Glory," which aren't going to be/expected to be included on any album). I don't know what the deal is with Adam's single. Midas/New Revolution has released singles for Emerson Drive. Maybe they just want to build hype before releasing it. Maybe it won't be released until the album. I'd say that we have a chance of getting that, though... soon. I think Kid Rock's album was just released to iTunes.(?) But it might be DRM-ed. Apparently, he doesn't like making his music available digitally. Yes, it is. All of the songs are DRM-free, which means they come .mp3 format and can be converted to whatever you like. (Which is why most iTunes songs don't work with WMP - they're protected .aac format, which WMP doesn't recognize. It's so we only use iTunes, iPods, and iRacks. Some songs are marked as iTunes plus, though, which means they are DRM-free.)

Why are they rereleasing it next week?! Shouldn't they wait until "Fine Line" has time to do it's thing on the charts?
I guess I'm glad cause I've been waiting on the rerelease since I heard about it to buy the album. But releasing it next week isn't going to help album sales AT ALL. I mean, doesn ANYONE (who doesn't get their news online) even have a clue it's being rereleased? Much less next week?!

Are you thinking of A Place To Land maybe? I don't see how Fine Line would help TRTH's sales unless it were top 10 or so, just for hype LBT in general.
