This is better than Our Song, but isn't saying much. But I still don't get why pop radio is more open to her and not Carrie Underwood's singles, which are by far MUCH better in quality. With all due respect, I don't understand posts such as this. Obviously "quality," however that's supposed to be calculated, is in the eye of the beholder.

It shouldn't matter, and it didn't matter then because BHC was good enough to be played anyways. But if Carrie remixed some of her other singles and sent them to Pop, then they could have done well too.

Actually Billboard itself rubs many people here thw wrong way... this forum came about as the result of the old Radio and Records boards... R&R used Mediabase for pretty much all of their charts until the infamous Billboard/R&R merger. When push comes to shove and an argument about a song's run is being made, it's usually Medibase (or old R&R numbers) that we refer to. Also, when we chart song runs here, most of them are from the daily Mediabase numbers.

Because Carrie doesn't remix her songs. That's precisely it... From the beginning, Carrie has been VERY against having "pop-remixes" made of her songs... And quite honestly, I think the first two Taylor remixes were both pretty bad (and this coming from someone who really likes Taylor's stuff)... "Before He Cheats" was kind of phenomenon if you will... one very rare case where I think the video actually helped the song achieve some mainstream success... I'm also REALLY hoping that the record label stops being so freaking pc with this song and lets pop radio play the original version of it or one where at least the words aren't edited. I mean if pop radio can play a song about girls kissing, then there is truly ZERO reason that the word "gay" should be omitted from PTB.

Well, you come with such an off the wall chart as the Pop 100. We are in the CHR/POP forum which deals with Pop radio. So when someone says "Yeah TOMG peaked at #7 on pop." you should be able to safely assume that they were referring to the Mediabase CHR/POP chart unless they say otherwise. The Pop 100? How random.

She reminds me of Miley. Good songs but their voice are a let down.

I love the way on the pop mix during "My daddy's gonna show you how sorry you'll be" it's almost acapella like when she performs it live. Does anyone think this can outpeak Our Song?

I can't stand this chick. Being from Pennsylvania, where does she acquire the hick accent? This one is better than "Our Song" though. I had to throw a positive in there. Ohhh, you apparently have no idea how hick parts of PA can be then Well, I guess there are the Amish, but do they have Southern hick accents?

Don't really see the excitement in this song, but I hope it does well.

It's possible to be from PA and have a thick country accent. I'm from right outside Pittsburgh and my accent is pretty similar to hers. Not everyone in the area has an accent, but most people do. She reminds me of Miley. Good songs but their voice are a let down. Neither of them are powerhouse singers, but Taylor's voice is much better than Miley's.
