He did great on 106th cohosted and premiered the video. He really didn't say much about the ablum but that Sean Garrett produce four records on it and that it comes out September. And also said he's doing a pre tour with Gucci Mane soon.

I hope Break Up is the only record Sean felt the need to lay vocals on.

I hope Break Up is the only record Sean felt the need to lay vocals on. Agree he's trying to use Mario as a springboard for his solo career don't know how far he's going go with it considering his album turbo 919 didn't get released or no one was feeling his single with ludacris "gripping on the bed". IMO Sean Garrett should just stay a producer. I know J records probably wouldn't have him on more of Mario records though. I'm eager to hear Mario's next single "stranded" produced by Sean Garrett and Eric Hudson I have a feeling it's just going to be just Mario on that record that's why he said that single is dropping before the album come out so fans can get to hear him doing his usual ballad songs by himself.

I can't wait to hear "Stranded". Isn't Eric Hudson the same as Mr. Hudson? The guy from Kanye's "Paranoid".
LOL @ the Gucci Mane comment. I'm surprised he's getting a hit. "Freaky Girl" is his biggest on both the R&B and Hot 100.
Sean Garrett laid vocals on Luda's "What Them Girls Like". Him and Chris Brown shared the chorus. I think I hear him on Fergie's "London Bridge". But that was his pre-singer period.

No Eric Hudson is a young producer from New Jersey who's done production for Mary J Blige, John Legend, Ne-yo, Chris Brown, Brandy and he also co produced Kanye West's "flashing lights". He's a pretty good producer he works with A listers, hope did something hot for Mario.

"Freaky Gurl" was Gucci Mane biggest song on the charts but this song with Mario is taking him to a mainstream level along with the song he just did with Mariah Carey. Gucci is huge right now he got crazy hot songs " I think I love her" and " Photoshoot" are my faves also his partner OJ da Juiceman is hot to " Make the trap say aye" was/is a big on the radio. I think Mario was smart for picking Gucci Mane to pre tour with. I wonder who else is going to hop on the tour with him Jeremih? I hope.

I was watching his U stream a couple days back and Mario said the album might be coming out in the end of Sept or October now smh but label say's Sept 22. " Break Up" is doing well. But I understand they trying to build a stronger foundation/hype for his album so pushing it back a couple weeks ain't bad. Their probably just giving "Break up" time to grow it finally has caught people attenion too. It's just now going up on Itunes top 100 and billboard hot 100 now. i just don't want to many pushbacks but I don't think that'll be happening with the success he's having right about now.

Mario stated on his twitter that he is changing the title of album from "And Then There There Was Me" to something else. He stated on his twitter "my album is too vocally & musically diverse to name it "and then there was me" and that he is thinking about changing it. And a recent twit he said he's going to reveal the new title of the album next week.

His music is really growing on me, so I'm going to try to update the thread whenever I can. It looks like it's confirmed that the album title has been changed to D.N.A. They now, have that on his official site and it says it that's still to be released in September. Also, Break Up has been #1 for five days on the 106 and Park countdown, so congrats to Mario for that. He posted this message on his Twitter about 106 and Park: I love you thanks for voting :) mypict.me/ezmf

Mario's CD change to DNA is weird. That is a term that should remain relegated to our bodies, to the field of science-not to a CD. It is impressive that this era is already better than his previous (junior) era. He is officially graduating to senior status with this 4th release. Concerning Michael Jackson songs, he should do Man in the Mirror or you Are Not Alone. I think he is a good vocalist and should tackle one of the more difficult cuts.

I wonder if he'll add "Green Light". It sounds like Off The Wall era MJ.

I really like the album title "D.N.A." it sounds more interesting and it make it sound like the album is going be a beast. I remember Beyonce named her album "B Day" I thought it was a weird title for an album but she brung the heat with that album. And it is crazy that "Break Up" out peaking his singles off the GO album already. The 1st single always open up ears for the album so i'm glad the 1st single this era is a hit people are going want to hear more from him.
